Flying planes in to buildings

Same as in IV when you shoot rockets from your Buzzard to buildings nothing happens... and obviously you will die and your plane explodes in thousand pieces I believe this is gonna be more realistic, also when cars explodes, etc.

Nothing will happen to the building most likely. But if the game is suppose to be more realistic like some info that said it was...then you would imagine the building would have some sort of damage.

But knowing that its GTA....the plane will probably instantly explode and kill you.

I don't think I've ever played a game where a building or even a house would get heavily damaged from the player crashing into it

In this game since there is no buildings destruction physics, nothing will happen, it will be the same as crashing a building in GTAIV with an helicopter.

 

In reality it would be a lot different, but not like 9/11, that day all the laws of physics were broken multiple times and it never happened again, oh they were in Boston bombings too, where bombs explode outside and glass is blasted from inside, but thats another talk.

It's highly unlikely that big passenger jets are flyable anyway, so it wouldn't be as big of an issue.

It doesn't matter if big passenger planes/jets are flyable... If planes and/or jets could fly into building will stir up some major controversy and get GTAV banned. We will have planes, jets and hopefully big passenger planes to fly, but when it comes to destructible building with flyable aircraft automatically revert people back to the bittersweet moment of 9/11!

I think the plane should be damaged realistically, but its hard. The processor obviously wont be able to manage dynamic frame damage. At higher speeds the plane should explode.

 

I always hated that when jumping out of a helicopter in IV it just thumped when it crashed to the ground

For a straight-on hit the plane should blowup and building would have cracks, fire and broken windows. Never should it collapse.

 

If I (and will try) just clip one wing, I expect the wing to come off and then the plane spinning out of control to blowup on the ground.

as for the blimp, Id like to see it bounce off and deflate.

 

Might be just me, but I remember thinking why didn't the jet take damage when it seemed to clip the heli after it shot it. I don't know which trailer, im too lazy to look right now.

 

Also, based on the trailers, seems like there's going to be a "No Fly Zone" over the MBase. Get too close, jets scramble to shoot you down. Again, probably just my wishful thinking.

Did you know Billy Cooper and ex-high military patent from the Navy told in some radio shows exactly 1 year and later 1 month before 9/11 that an operation would take place soon and Osama Bin Laden (CIA operative spying on Russia, leader of a fake terrorist group named Al-QAEDA created by the CIA for those operations)? You can still find the recordings of that radio show, and you can also read some of Billy Cooper books and you'll see what he said back then is happening now, including the shootouts and gun control.

 

Oh and just by coincidence, you can also check this yourself. In 9/11 morning the FEMA was in the street conducting an "exercise" about terrorists hijacking planes, 1 week before NORAD did the same and in that day the "exercise turned real", in the 7/7 bombins in London the Mi5 was making exercises of terrorist attacks in the subway and on the bus, minutes later the exercise turned real, in SandyHook shootings in a school near it there was an exercise of a shootout (in fact most of the images the TV shown to you with cops around were from that school, not SHE), in Boston Bombings during the event there were exercises of terrorists using bombs, and a lot of black op operatives with black backpacks, and minutes later the exercises turned real ... I was told that somewhere in July there will be some exercises in NY for a few days involving the use of gas in 21 of the stations... I would stay away if I were you.... can you the pattern?

 

I'll shut up now, just in case someone wants to turn off the TV and look for the answers himself I gave a lot of hints about what to look for.

Back to GTA, in GTAIV when you crashed a wall you would get some cracks on it, but I doubt they'll include those in building walls, and most likely by crashing you'll break your plane wings.

Something so simple as exploding planes into buildings can provide lots of fun. Especially when you have passengers in the plane before you bail out

The engine would have to be modified to support destructable environments. in RDR you were able to shoot the branches off of cactus. in IV you could dynamically destroy some benches. It might be just be a more detailed crash though.

The structure of the plane should deform greatly and explode, with only textural damage to the building. Unrealistic, but I don't think we should expect the plane to go into the building like in 9/11.
