I'd say it's definitely already started. I think R* will definitely go heavy on the marketing this time around, we should see more and more as we get closer to release. I follow sports pretty closely and the SB Nation line of basketball blogs is plastered with the ad, as well as ESPN and Yahoo! Sports to lesser degrees. Yesterday when this new screen came up… I bet they released it on purpose on a printed ad because they knew someone might recognized it differs from the screens we knew. It was more hyped then just releasing official shots on their page. Same goes for the submarine shot. I guess we will find more and more of this tiny advertisement stuff in the next day and the big bang (new website, billboards and stuff) will start at the end of june, growing bigger and bigger till august. slumdunder Posted June 7, 2013 Share Posted June 7, 2013 I still remember the advertising blitz for MP3. Billboards as far as the eye could see. Every bus and billboard in my city seemed to have it. Went on a trip that December to a different city some 8 hours away. Every bus and billboard there had it too. GTAV likely has a higher perceived ROI for advertisements.
