lardlad
this has been annoying me for a while now. years ago when i started to play gta san andreas on pc, i always noticed that when driving through the country area, the road textures get really bad. they look fine then they just become sh*t. its really irritating. at first i thought it was my computer. then i got a better one and the problem still occurs. and now i have a high end pc and this problem still exists. the road textures look like they just didnt load. i remember this being a problem in gta 3 on the play station. Where the road textures look bad. i can't re-install the game because i downloaded it. and that is not the problem. i currently have an intel hd graphics 4th generation gpu. but this problem also existed on amd and nvidia cards. is there some sort of script or texture mod. i dont have any texture mods besides hd weapon icons and car plates are re-textured. and im 100% positive this is not the culprit. is there anything i can do? Spider-Vice
The country roads' texture is just like that in that area, they're PS2 textures that were probably not changed like the rest in the Xbox and PC versions. Remember GTA SA is from 2004. let your hopes and dreams turn into burning fire! radioman
i can't re-install the game because i downloaded it. Where did you download the game from? Why can't you do an un-install and re-install?-even downloaded versions have this option. Also, You left out A LOT of information that is helpful in determining a solution to your problem, and they are: What is your Processor? What is the Processor Speed? What is the Video card? What is the Total Vram? What is the Dedicated vram? What is your OS? Do you have the latest SP for the OS? **To find above info, go to Start, Run(if XP)/Search(If Vista, 7, or 8) and type in DXDIAG and press Enter, the first page is the OS, Ram, Processor information and the Display tab is the Video card information..**

lil weasel
[D]o you know where i can get any mods that fix that? i have v 1.01 so im able to mod it. If you have V1.01, you cannot mod the game. The Patch 1.01 removes that capability. This also means you have a V1 game, which was not issued as a Download.

lil weasel
V1 is the Original DVD issue. The v1.01 is the Official Patch (download) to remove the 'Hot Coffee' and repair some bugs in the DVD game. V2 is the current DVD game. V3 is the Official Download game. The information you are supplying is indicating you have a Pirated game.
