You will receive a one-star wanted level, if you respect the rules of the road;

did you seriously just post another thread as your source?

Not a problem if you can actually drive.

Police won't even be able to tell what colour my car was, that's how quickly I'll be gone.

Assuming the info is even real, it could also depend on what they mean by it. It doesn't mean that we have to obey speeding laws and traffic lights, as it could also just mean that being a maniac and driving into other vehicles constantly could get you in trouble, which isn't that bad. But again, I don't think the info is real. It first appeared in a 'jokey' section of an Xbox Magazine, and the guy in the recent thread in the news section just copied and pasted that over.

-You will receive a fine for driving a golf cart on the streets of Los Santos;

Fines, finally! Instead of police shooting you right away, they actually pull you over! I love this feature, loved it in Mafia 2, will love it in V.

I don't believe those russian previews at all, they say things that they could've only known if they had actually played the game themselves (ie a hands-on preview).

Basically, from this thread:

http://www.gtaforums.com/index.php?showtop...entry1062607029

Real info:

Nothing exceptionally new in the article. It's from preview meeting held in Warsaw. They saw the same mission as the other journalists around the world.

Some info, and although I don't think it's new, maybe you can find something interesting:

- Parachute jump takes 3 mins.

- Dune buggy standing near the road.

- Fishermen on the river.

- Deers were drinking water from the stream on the other side.

- 3D radar.

- Sharks will be marked on the radar.

- Character from Republican Space Rangers (TV Series on Weazel in GTA IV) was seen in Vinewood. Michael took a photo of him and posted it on some social networking site.

- Enterable tattoo studio.

- When Trevor is pissed, he is much stronger.

- Every character has an unique walking style.

- Our mercenaries are more experienced after each heist.

- Gun wheel from Red Dead Redemption and shooting style from Max Payne 3.

- Money from heists could be spend on businesses, for example arms trade on the coast.

- Hitchhikers carpooling as a side mission.

Real/Fake info in a troll post:

News (Google-Translate):

-The game seems more realistic than Red Dead Redeption.

-When one of the characters will be on the verge of life and death - you will hear warning signals.

-The military base will contain a huge selection of different military vehicles.

-There are three types of transitions between Michael, Trevor and Franklin. First - automatic. The game will be independent of you "forced" to switch to this or that character. The second type of transition occurs while viewing movies. And third, the most commonly used when a player switches itself on any character regardless of the event.

-When you reach the maximum level statistics for all the characters, you get the result: "The maximum Painful" ("Max Painfull").

-When switching between the main characters, you have a switch - a small circle in the lower right corner of the screen.

Incredible realism, depth of field from the dizzying skydiving from Franklin.

-Music will be played and under water in submarines.

Rays of light, very realistically fall on an uneven surface of the water.

-Hotel Richman's most luxurious and expensive hotel in all of Los Santos. You will be able to stop it at any time, certainly not for free.

-The hotel Richman, who we saw on one of the screens, there is a great staff, the pool and the most expensive rooms - solid luxury.

-Do not leave your dog unattended - it can get lost.

-Hares will be in the game.

-The transition between the characters will not last more than 10 seconds.

-If you will often jump from a parachute, it can make you dizzy.

-When we die - the screen becomes blurred.

-The game is the same as in the trailers; (hidden allusion to the fact that the prophets did not improve the quality of the video, etc.)

-Sign "Vinewood" will be visible from any corner of the city.

-When we climbed the sign "Vinewood", we get a one-star wanted in connection with the fact that it is illegal.

-Almost every big house has a tennis court, which can be played at any time.

-You can hit by lightning;

-You will be able to explore underwater shipwrecks planes with drugs and other valuables;

-The game seems more realistic than Red Dead Redeption.

-When one of the characters will be on the verge of life and death - you will hear warning signals.

-You will be able to jump with a parachute and scuba diving at once;

-Journey to the roof of the train will give you a star tracing;

-You will not find a luxury or sports car in Blaine County, only Vinewood'e;

-Submarine tours;

You will receive a one-star wanted level, if you respect the rules of the road;

-When you will explore the farm and field - you can watch as their plane sprays;

-There will be drunk drivers that prevent both you and the police with pedestrians;

-Never look at the half-naked women. They may complain to the police on you;

-Carts "hot dog" will help to restore your health;

-The Highlands is so huge that you can very easily get lost there;

-The military base is located near the vineyards and has a huge amount of military equipment. You can reach it unnoticed you are unlikely to succeed.

-Under the water is full of car wrecks.

-You will receive a fine for driving a golf cart on the streets of Los Santos;

-The beach has lifeguards;

-Meet with criminals in the wilderness;

-Train route runs from the Los Santos to the foot of the mountain Chilliad;

Wild-life looks much better than the RDR;

-The observatory is fully working and is the site of secret meetings;

Do not take anything from the second post as truth. There's a lot there that wasn't even shown in the preview, so it wouldn't make sense how they know this.

I don't know, I doubt that'd happen to just the Russian preview. They wouldn't open themselves to publications not as big as GI or websites such as IGN or CVG.

If this is true, and I am taking this with a GIANT grain of salt, I will be very pleased. It is something I have been waiting for in a GTA game. I've wanted very smart cop AI for a while. This and the rumor of the 24Hour patrols for major crimes intrigue me, and make the world seem more realistic. But we shall see in a few short months...

I'm not pissed, because that was taken from a rough translation and could very well mean we will get 1 star if we run into a cop car, etc.

I highly doubt they meant to say we will get 1 star simply from speeding or running a red light.

Just by reading the Russian previews (equivalents of CVG, IG etc) you notice how loosely Rockstar played the game for them. Allowing them to see/hear more. I agree that this is weird, but maybe they thought it would go unnoticed or get lost in translation.

If there are traffic laws, then it all depends on how good the police A.I is. Mafia 2 had traffic laws, but in that game you hardly ever had to follow them. You could sometimes drive down the highway at high speeds and never once see a cop. So really traffic laws would not matter whatsoever if it wasn't done to the extreme of pissing gamers off.

So that second dude just made those things up? Cause it's indeed quite odd that no other preview gave any of these details. Except for that Xbox Magazine, which wrote their article like it was some tour guide or something. It certainly doesn't seem to be from PSX Extreme.

Well I simplified it, the truth is that he mixed real info with some info that seems to me to be false. The reason why I say this is because a lot of that information came from the 'joke' portion of another preview.

I love it! If the traffic laws aren't real then lights are only colored sticks and roads are just sticky land.

I would suspect, if this is true, it will only happen if you break a law in the presence of a police officer. I would think you can still do whatever you like, but is a cop is watching, he will give chase of you run a red light or something.

Some people say they love it, but i expect them to be singing a different tune when playing the game and they speed through a red light and those pesky cops come at you right away.

On the other hand, i guess games like these DO need to progress and change, but i wonder if this should really change. While playing MCLA i can't say it did NOT annoy me when i was just racing and i heard those annoying beeps that the cops were almost coming, highly annoying really.

@SLUGFly

I know what you mean. But some things do NOT need to be realistic in games like these, they should not stand in the way of fun and freedom. Realism is only good to a certain point. Imagine if gold actually had weight in Skyrim.

If there were road rules, this is how it should work: if a cop see you, you get a fine (only if the car was bought or you stop near a cop after not obeying the rules). If it was bought and you receive a fine but don't stop, it will later appear when your car is parked at the safehouse, unless you change the plate.

Do you not live in a world where jokes exist?

It was in that one preview, and it was in the YELLOW BOX god damn it people!

Also.

"You will receive a one-star wanted level, if you respect the rules of the road;"?

So you're supposed to go around hitting everyone in sight and driving on the wrong side of the road?

LOL that's not how it works: If you're unsure of something you take it as false until it's confirmed true. Not the other way around.
