Grand Theft Auto 5 sales will not be affected by the launch of next-gen consoles, according to Take-Two's Strauss Zelnick. With a userbase of approximately 120 million, Zelnick believes that GTA 5 sales will remain strong. 'Grand Theft Auto 5' sales will not be hurt by next-gen, says Take-Two Grand Theft Auto 5 sales will not be affected by the launch of next-gen consoles, according to Take-Two's Strauss Zelnick. With a userbase of approximately 120 million, Zelnick believes that GTA 5 sales will remain strong. "Grand Theft Auto V is the most highly anticipated release of our biggest franchise," Zelnick told MCV. "It features the largest, most dynamic and most diverse open world Rockstar Games has yet created. "The installed base of current generation consoles is estimated to be in excess of 120 million, and most of those consumers have been waiting for Grand Theft Auto V for years. "Therefore, we expect there to be enormous consumer demand for Grand Theft Auto V regardless of when the next-generation consoles are released." Next Gen, No Problem! It would if they announced a Next Gen version, which I'm sure they will soon as they reach their target and see it's time for the next part of the plan.
