CTCCoco
I don't know why, but this screen I taked from Michael's trailer makes me think about this. http://s18.postimg.org/6oakq8ktz/gtav.png Now with GTA V probably being the most complex GTA to this time, do you think this time we'll have many open interiors, or it will be like GTA:SA or GTA IV, where most of the buildings and houses were closed? What do you think? Edited June 6, 2013 by CTCCoco

What do you think? still most of the houses and appartements will be closed as it's not possible to simulate a complete city including interiors today. Anyway we will get more interiors then ever before - this was promised by R* and I really hope they "deliver" this time.
Deuce Deuce
Yes. More open interiors gives the illusion of a bigger game. We already know the scale of the map won't disappoint (for most people anyway). Rockstar promised more enterable buildings with GTA IV, but there wasn't really much to explore and most of the interiors felt a bit "life-less." But I am confident GTA V will have more varied interiors like corner liquor stores, enterable gas stations and so on.
Shoumaker
Didn't R* say that the map of GTA V will be bigger than Grand Theft Auto IV, Read Dead Redemption and San Andreas combined including interiors? If this is true then I believe there will be many or at least a lot more than we have seen in past GTA games. Assuming GTA V's map will be smaller than those three games combined if the interior maps aren't included. Anyone get what I'm trying to say? RoadRunner71
Let's hope they don't lock the interiors used in missions like they did with IV...
kesta195
Some of the close up downtown shots show that a lot of the skyscrapers seem to have interiors.
creed200569
Rockstar already promised ALOT more interiors to enter cuz they know that was a big complaint in GTA 4 plus knowing that we are gonna have to hide from the cops sometimes leads me to believe that many more will b available to enter. i dont care if alot of houses are copy and pasted, I wanna be able to enter alot of these houses and yes I understand it takes up disc space, so what. Its all about making this game the ultimate open world game and providing players everything they need to make it the best game possible. Hell I would love it if they continue to unlock interiors through DLC. The more the better especially when it comes to being chased by the cops. ALeSsAnDrO
With every new title, people expect more interiors. In the end the amount is still insignificant. I remember this atrocious game called "True Crime NY" that had a sh*t load of interiors, pratically every door on the street was accessible. And that was a PS2 title. So yeah, it can be done, however i doubt it's one of R*'s priorities.

Pretty much everything about that game feels unfinished. It's like playing a beta version. It looks bad overall, but especially the city. Driving physics are awful. Unleveled cutscene audio and generally poor sound effects, especially vehicles. The only good thing about these True Crime titles was their ambition, it proved that a big urban area with tons of accessible interiors can be done in old hardware. d3ex2
In the Game Informer article from last year they said you can see people going about their day to day business inside buildings. Also, a lot of buildings you can see right inside them. So yeah I guess there are definitely lots of interiors.

Snoochie_Boochies
I hope we see a lot of interiors. I'd like to see every restaurant and club in the city to be accessible. IV only had around A dozen or so, but there were hundreds of restaurants and delis, etc. that didn't have interiors. It would be cool to see gas stations and government buildings have interiors, too, and a mall like Vice City, but with several clothing and luxury stores. Dope_0110
Some of you seem to expect waaaaay too much from this game. Maybe it could even deliver a whole lot of interiors, but they wouldn't be detailed enough and would all look the same. We'll get more and hopefully varied and detailed, but I don't even see why would we need three restaurants on the same block. To me, one restaurant ever 4-5 blocks would be great to have. When you count other stores in between, that would be a lot of interiors.
