Anyone else not getting it on the first day? There's a little more than three entire months till release. I could panhandle 60 bucks in three months, or collect change or something. I have the money but when your console is on the other side of the planet in a storage unit it doesn't make a whole lot of sense to buy a copy on day 1. So I will have built up quite the itch to play while over here. Once I get back stateside though...my wife will prevent me from playing it excessively. That's not a bad thing though, I'm patient enough to wait a few more months. keep on waiting mate - PC version not coming for a loooooong time! The release of the PC version will not happen simultaneously with the initial release, that's sure and we don't have to discuss it but I have no idea how this is related to the next-gen consoles in any way. Besides that Strauss Zelnick's statement is by no means a confirmation that GTAV will not release for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. I don't think that there will be a next-gen version but there is the possibility that it will eventually happen. The PS4 and X1 are closer to a PC than any console in the past, so for instance, if Rockstar is developing a proper PC version for GTAV, that is well-opimized like the one of Max Payne 3, then there would be no problem at all to port the game to the new Microsoft and Sony consoles, from a technical standpoint. However, this has little to nothing to do with how much later GTAV will release for PC.
