What's the point? I feel wasting your time for the game to release is stupid. You'll be tied and only play a few hours and not enjoy it as much. If you get the game later that day you enjoy it more and have a better experience.

Voted I ordered online as that's what I will be doing so no. With a bit of luck I'll get the game a day early but I'm not holding my breath been as the game comes out on a Tuesday.

Doubt it, my local GAME store will have loads of people at the Midnight launch, so I'd have to get there at like 6PM to be one of the first to get a copy at Midnight, by the time I'd got my copy and then got home I doubt I'd be back until like 4AM, I'll go and collect it at 8AM probably.

I don't go to the midnight releases anymore.. By the time I get the game, I play for not even a full hour before I'm just so tired I don't even care about the game. I'll just go pick it up the morning after and spend the day playing.

yeah ill be going to a midnight release. the gamestop i go to always has games and raffle prizes (still havent won anything, was ONE off a few times). it has its own giant stage with about 15 TVs and consoles for competition gaming. its not just waiting in line for hours, my gamestop makes it fun

 

....even if they didnt i'd still go. i want my hands on that baby as soon as possible.

I don't want to be super tired and only be able to play 30 minutes to an hour when I get the game, I'll probably get it early in the day and marathon it for almost all of the day.

I'm pre-ordering it with overnight delivery so I'll get it on the day it comes out... I'd rather pay an extra $10 to get it without a wait.

I'll go to the midnight release. Install the game on my hard drive. Post a pic on twitter of my Collectors edition. Go to sleep. Wake up. Game all day since I've taken the 17th & 18th off from work. I will only stop to eat, walk the dog, and use the restroom. On the 18th I'll get my friends opinions on the game so far, and maybe do some multiplayer.

 

Friendly Tip: Don't wait in line @ the midnight release. Go to your Gamestop around 8 pm to get your reserved processed, then come back at around 1 am and the line should be coming to an end. If needed, sit in your car and listen to music for 5 mins. This will help you avoid the wait, and spend your evening doing more constructive things. It also prevents robbery.

Yes! I always go around 6-7pm to get my place in line and go home to take a nap. Go back at midnight and that easily solves my "I'm tired" problem.

No. I'm getting it delivered. So I'll wake up early on the 17th. I'll cook myself a big breakfast and watch the trailers while waiting for it to arrive. Then I play.

Not just yes, but HELL YES...Sit in my car, not gonna stand in line. Come home, install the game. Force myself to go to sleep. Then wake up and play all day. Taking 2 days off of work...Tue and Fri.

My husband works until 1 am at a store next to game stop. So he'll probably pick it up at some point that night. Then he's probably going to come home and play it in front of me all night, just because he had it in his physical possession first.

Despite the fact that I work for FedEx and need to be up at 5am, I may go pick up my Collectors Edition at midnight. Would that be smart or should I go at 1am after the line has died down? I've never been to a midnight release so I'm not sure how these things work.

My local Gamestop is only like a mile away and as far as the whole "tired" thing I usually don't go to bed til around 4am anyway so yeah I'll probaly stop in and get it at midnight. I honestly don't think there will be a ton of people there (smaller town not a big city or big mall or anything like that) so I figure I'll show up around 11pm and see what the line is like.

i took off for the 17th my friend and i are waiting in line i never have any problems with theivery, my gamestop always have a midnight release for games like these. usually same people i see get there early and have a dvd playaer portable. ill have to drop my friend back off at his house but its not that far from me. i just like waiting with other people.

I rejected, simply because I want to attend the midnight release. If that's not dedication, Idk what is.
