How do you think it will be? I wish we always have the courts available to play and can challenge any NPC nearby. How do you think will be the tennis in GTA V? antisatan7 Posted June 6, 2013 Share Posted June 6, 2013 Not only do I think tennis is going to be full fledged but I think we'll be able to take the tennis ball anywhere in game and hit it around wherever we want, hitting it into cars trying to hit trick shots and bouncing it off peoples heads and walls and stuff. To be honest, I'm kind of interested in yoga, as well. I wonder how they're going to make it work? Yoga involves a degree of body contortion, so it seems to me that it would involve controlling the characters' limbs. There's actually a fair amount of potential for hilarity there. One thing I hope is that the activities like these will be available for participation in multiplayer. Playing against NPCs is one thing, but imagine playing tennis with other players in a world where you can also run them over, get out of the car, and destroy both the car and their corpse with a rocket launcher. OK, yoga is one thing, and I can't imagine myself how that's going to play out. But you can't imagine how they'll make tennis fun?? It's a fun game by itself and simple to play usually. Haven't you ever played it in real life of a tennis video game? OT: I'm thinking they may still go simple with tennis, meaning you get to move around and have three different ways to kick a ball, normal, long ball (high up over the opponent) and short ball (aiming it just short over the net). But I don't worry about it. Rockstar will do it properly. And I don't think we'll play against anyone, probably call up a friend and play with them. Certinty Posted June 6, 2013 Share Posted June 6, 2013 I believe 2K Czech are helping with production of GTA V, the creators of Mafia II and Top Spin 4. Given TS4 is by far the best tennis game ever made I would imagine they're the ones developing the tennis in GTA V. Wouldn't actually be that surprised if the gameplay is even updated from TS4 though since I'm sure 2K Czech must have already started on TS5. Maybe you can buy one for your big boy's playroom in your safehouse. It's the golf mini-game that I'm interested in. Imagine playing a round of golf online, when from out of nowhere a Hydra fighter jet crash lands on the fairway "FORE!". There also needs to be a parody of the scene in the great film 'Falling Down'.
