So that seems to sound like you can actually buy things for your house? Actually buy furniture and place it where you want in your house? Buy a new big screen tv? Or am i just going a bit too far now? I think i am, but i do wonder if this has been said at all? I recall reading about it, but it didn't go into much detail about it. Maybe some of you have read this as well? I haven't read all the previews though, not the non-English ones, well, except for the Dutch ones that is. Has there been more info on that? Seriously though, unless it serves some kind of purpose that somehow contributes to the heist mechanics, I don't see the point. But in that game, decking out your crib contributed to your style stat as part of the style/respect/money mechanic. In other words, it did something tangible. I'm not saying GTA should copy SR (it shouldn't). I'm just saying that features like safe house customization should have more of a purpose than merely making your digs look a bit nicer. Cyfa Posted June 5, 2013 Share Posted June 5, 2013 Maybe a few changes here and there, but don't expect anything to crazy, like replacing the entire living room with stuff from IKEA. We can customize our properties in terms of that we'll need to buy a helipad for the mansion if we own a helicopter, or maybe we can upgrade the garage size. I sure hope they put it in! Really? I never really played that game, so i didn't know. This just shows again how some people jump to conclusions way too quickly and mock it and what not. It's actually entirely possible that it's in the game, we'll have to wait and see. And for people mentioning sh*t like the SIms...just because we might be able to customize a few things in our properties does NOT make it The Sims. @gonnaenodaethat Hell no. You could do almost anything, from replacing the whole interior to one of available themes, to buying individual pieces of furniture and embelishments and manually placing them wherever you wanted to... though I actually never used that as I never went home so I didn't care for it.
