This would be epic, because there are no worries to destroy the main game, but the game would still feature Zombies. People probably said the same about RDR. zombies in early 20th century? Look how that worked out, it was a hit. there are a load of present day zombie games/tv shows/movies. So why not GTA V? Plus people play GTA V to kill hundreds of Peds and police. What difference if it's zombies? You're still driving around kill everything. You're right, there are loads of zombie games set in modern day & that's a good reason for R* to avoid it, unless you think they should follow instead of lead. Strauss Zelnick may want zombies in every R* game. Thankfully, he doesn't have any creative control over R*. He's just a suit, not an artist. K.Walters Posted June 6, 2013 Share Posted June 6, 2013 For all the people who say no to this: you are not forced to play zombies Imagin if R* made a zombie gamemode (cheat for singleplayer) where everything is ok, but 10-20 zombies are spawned and they start to bite people and they become zombies after a while. And it spreads until everyone is a zombie. In multiplayer once a player dies he becomes a zombie with a random special power like : 200% speed, 500% health but slow, higher jump etc. Zombie players can`t use guns or use vehicles, but they become a bit stronger every time a player kills them so it wouldn`t end in a bunch of people camping one place and surviving for hours. In singleplayer once you die everything goes back to normal until you re-enter the cheat. That would be so cool. Imagin tuning up your 4x4 and just smashing through zombies or getting a tank and making some zombie pancakes. It`s important that they don`t make zombies like in SR3 where one zombie could flip a truck over. you might say no to this and not like the whole zombie thing at all, but what if R* implements zombies and you actually try it out and it`s so good and fun that you start to like zombies. First, a Zombie Apocalypse cheat. Everyone turns into a zombie, including your characters, the weather turns very foggy, and day turns to night. From then it’s an all-on-all battle with former pedestrians attacking both you and each other. The goal is to kill as many other zombies as you can and have fun watching the pedestrians/other zombies go at it against each other too. The second cheat idea is more of a Zombie Survival mode. All the pedestrians turn into zombies, but you don’t. Kill all the zombies and things turn back to normal.We even think both these ideas have potential as “official game modes”, but that would be far too obvious (and COD-ish) for Rockstar… still, it would be cool! Rockstar have already done it with Undead Nightmare in Red Dead Redemption as well, so seems even less of a possibility. --- Although: If you have GTA IV on PC you should check out the Zombie Mod. Sure, Zombies are overused but I assume they worked great in RDR (Undead Nightmare, are you even aware of this @OP?).. and probably even in the CoD games. I'd like to see it in V. So most of you don't like to see Zombie threads, I can understand that...but your negative comments are not really needed, especially when you can just not click on the thread. INSTEAD, you basically said some ish that goes like this. "This question has been asked too many times, Im sick of it!" and bumped the thread to the top!!?! That isn't even input and doesn't answer the question. Then there are the others who are sick of ZOMBIE games...Ok I feel you on that, but that is where my question came in, as Dead Rising has you battling Zombies, and in DayZ your mainly battling other humans. Just like The Walking Dead, Zombies are just there, the real threat are other human survivors, which is why people who don't even like zombies at all, watch it. There is a huge market for that, and the first company to really perfect that specific zombie style game will end up making a huge profit. GTA already has the open world and details in the game, just need to tweak or add a few things. Thanks for all who took the time to answer the question instead of shoot out some useless sh*t like this. For f**k sake.....this tired old sh*t again. Maybe the next red dead can have another mythical-type dlc, I would love to see that. That said, I wouldn't be too quick to rule out some form of "fantasy" DLC for GTA V. It's very fun to imagine. Only thing generating doubt for me was the old quote that they weren't planning large dlc for GTA V.
