Should there be a Police Patrol mod in GTA V Like the LCPDFR Mod?

I don't see why not. It could be other ways to make money and keep the game interesting. icon14.gif

I Love been the Police it makes the game a bit more interesting so instead of being a criminal you can be a cop!

Completly useless feature.

No, this is a great feature!

No. Why can't "high and mighty" roleplayers understand that their idea of fun, which is obeying traffic laws, holding real jobs, eating and fueling up cars, etc. aren't fun for other people? Why don't you guys make your own game, which you guys can make into a real-life simulator, so you can stop trying to make GTA into one!

But the fact that it's still there bothers me. Why would a criminal like Trevor or Franklin or Michael ever want to play pretend cop?

But it's not Trevor , franklin or Michael playing the game

It's not everyone's cup of tea , but I would like to play a vigilante style mini game and the option to play as a corrupt LSPD cop would awesome

So, you're suggesting a fifth playable character, which is a cop, for a crime game?

Definitely should be in. But the balance needs to be right so its not just extreme slaughtering and not boring and uneventful either.

Haven't you read the previews? There's 4 playable characters, Michael, Franklin, Trevor, and your multiplayer character. And I've seen LCPDFR, and all I've thought of it were that whoever played it were a bunch of wannabe cops and feds who failed the academy

Obviously your going to be able to play as a Multiplier character on MULTIPLIER not in single player so there is only 3 Single Player playable characters

When you count all the playable characters as a whole, there's four.

And I stopped reading there. Why do you give a f*ck? Rockstar wouldn't make this game solely for you. Go away. Dumb-o.

I supported this project in its early stages, played the alpha versions and now I have just watched the videos. Wow, this seems like it has become a really complex system. So if someone is doing this for V, we will get it, too.

Anway we will just have to find out how to mod V. Remember how much time it took until there were some tools for modding IV.

Yet vigilante is fine?

Such thing has been in gta forever

It sounds like fun to me. But it'd work better if the rumours about the 4th 'cop' player were true.

Corrupt cop maybe? Like true crime NYC - giving people tickets cos I didn't like them haha

This is one feature that has no reason it shouldn't be in

Would be more fun than driving a damned train like in sa

After all this isn't train sim

Rockstar doesn't make this game soley for RP'ers, either.

That would be awesome, I loved the LCPDFR mod. It's much, much better than the traditional vigilante missions, as you have full support of the police force and can actually arrest instead of kill someone. And for the people saying 'it's a crime game..', Bullsh*t. It's called grand THEFT auto but still a big part of V is PURCHASING items. So same applies to police. It would be awesome (and add replay value) to be able to choose which side of the fence you want to be on. Besides you could still be a bad cop, no one tells you to be law-abiding.

Rockstar doesn't make this game soley for RP'ers, either.

Then why does it bother you if they make it for both? It's OPTIONAL, why does it bother you if it is there? It shouldn't.

It doesn't fit the character. Would Trevor really be rounding up criminals in the name of the law?
