You've played games that have aspects of what V will have and will likely improve on. Now, don't get me wrong I do believe that V will be the best GTA and R* game to date but....it can and will be improved upon in future titles. The game will be amazing but it most certainly can be topped in the future by R*. Who knows if it'll be at the beginning of next-gen or right at the end like V. I for one welcome that. Assuming that rockstar can't improve is ba thinking - that's why saints row and cod never hit the spot; because they have low aspirations Gta will keep improving, mostly graphics wise. Borras81 Posted June 5, 2013 Share Posted June 5, 2013 The ultimate GTA would have Los Santos, San Fierro, Las Venturas, Liberty City and Vice City all on one huge map. The area between Los Santos and Las Venturas would be desert, once you got past Las Venturas, the terrain would be swampland to represent the Everglades, then beyond that would be Vice City. Moving northwards from Vice City, there would be farmland with perhaps the Kentucky Derby racetrack as a nod to Kentucky being between Vice City and the next destination, Liberty City, which would be at the top right of the map. From there, you would head west over a mountainous area which could represent the mountain states of Montana and Wyoming. You would then come to San Fierro at the top left of the map. From there, a recreation of route 66 and it's scenery would take you back to Los Santos. As a side note, the northern edge of this map could be bordered by the Great Lakes such as Lake Superior. Obviously Lake Superior doesnt stretch across all the way to San Fransisco in real life but this is a only game so I'm sure this could be excused. Who knows if it'll be at the beginning of next-gen or right at the end like V. you have to accept zeee facts. #fact R.A.G.E., sand box, third person view, driving, shooting, combat, cutscenes, movie homages, pop culture, radio stations, voice acting, motion capturing, mini games, phone interaction device, etc etc etc....we've seen and heard about that stuff before - only in 6 different games or so. Also don't get ME wrong here, I do indeed think V will be R* best game upon release, but it's not much in content that is MINDBLOWING and new, if you really think about it. Maybe the character-switch, yeah, and dogs and some other stuff of course. But it all boils down to V being a hybrid in a Very good way - It's just the best and most enjoyable features of all games combined into one, under the hood of the most uptodate R.A.G.E. Knowing, having played and loving the games so far I can only assume that V will be the bomb, if not THE game of games. Technically speaking though we've been there, kind of. Of course we haven't actually (present perfect'd) "played" it before. But you gotta live under some BIG rock to not see what's coming and not be excited as f*ck about it. Hype much? Yes. Justified and based upon experience much? Yes again. PS: R* top themselves with every game. MP3 is their best game to date, yet some people don't like because it's not a GTA. So people's opinions really mean sh*t. Next R* title after V should be either Red Dead-, Noire franchise-related or a brand new franchise and thus people will not like it as much as a GTA and say R* has done better before or whatever. Though it will be undeniably R* best product at that time. "can be topped" in CERTAIN people's minds, WILL actually BE topped by R* every time upon release of a game. #fact GTA being the ONE game to most people, V being the mother of all GTAs - this will be R*'s last gift to those "GTA-above-all" masses. States of minds....you can throw anything at those walls, no matter what, nothing gets through. It's okay though. V could possibly live forever if the muliplayer is done right so those people might have their shelter for a lifetime. Maybe there'll be a next GTA...in 2020 or so....if ever. It's time for something else. And R* wants it too. So in many eyes V might be the best game R* will have ever made. GTAV is like the new batman movies that reached its peak with The Dark Knight. There's no way to go but down. It will surely be the best GTA for now, but I also beg to consider: Rockstar can, again, go into a whole different direction with GTA 6. Another theme, another protagonist. Sooner or later the Houser brothers will run short of ideas and won't make amazing stories for ever. For now, we can say they're at the top of their game with GTA IV, Red Dead and Max Payne all having amazing stories to tell. (Especially RDR will be hard to top storywise) Sure a game with Liberty City, Vice City, San Fierro, Las Venturas and Los Santos all in one gigantic HD world sounds awesome, but without a good story behind it the game won't be good. How can they run out of ideas, GTA is a parody of American Life.. as long as America doesnt disappear there will always be modern ideas to mock. They just need to choose the correct location thats all. As long as they never make an "all city" map like IV again I am game.. that just got to boring to quickly. I'm not saying it will be a sh*t game but it will have flaws because it will never be perfect. There is always room to improve. People probably said the same about San Andreas when it came out. GTA V will be beaten one day. Many years from now Rockstar will release a game running on a better game engine, it will have a much bigger map and better graphics/AI. They will hopefully keep trying new stuff out to keep it fresh. With GTA III they changed it to third person and with V they add three playable characters. And when the next GTA comes out for the next generation of consoles, then it will only get better. They will have more room and more power for, well more. Imagine a fully detailed city the size of the whole map of V. I don't mean the size of the city, I mean the whole interior map. Imagine detailed and enter-able buildings, every single building is able to be interacted with. Imagine all the minigames and all the character manipulation you want, all the cars, all the peds, everything. And regardless of all of that, I can guarantee you that the story will be great. Every story in past and future GTA are amazing. Now I'm exaggerating with all of that above, but trust me it'll be better.
