Personally I find graphics a somewhat considerable chunk of gameplay. Sure I enjoyed the classic III-era because those were the best around then. Now, after experiencing these newer levels of graphics and detail, anything less sort of affects my thoughts while playing the game. I'm content with games with worse graphics if it fits the style, but I think with an attempted photo-realistic game like GTA, I couldn't go back.

graphics do matter, honeslty i can't play sa or a lot of old games cause they are so dated. we've been spoiled and the graphics of V are going to be very nice. iv didn't have excellent graphics by any means, huge improvement from sa but still. im not a graphics whore either, but they matter and the game is going to seem so much better with the enhanceed graphics.

"Better" gameplay is an opinion. To some people, a better looking game is more immersive, therefore it's gameplay is "better". I would rather play the current GTA V.

Yea 3 Era's game play is fun and all but it isn't that good. SA & VCS had the best gameplay IN the 3 Era games. But IV took it even higher. especially IV's driving, it doesn't matter if you don't like it, just admit it's better dude i'm freakin' tired of people saying 3 Era had better game play. IT IS FUN but not B E T T E R.

That's not what you said though. You gave a specific scenario that included multiple cities and SA/Bully graphics etc.

To make this short and simple, I voted V as it is mainly because of the Rage engine and euphoria. I'm sorry, but I just can't play those 3-era games for that sole reason. I prefer IV's driving and LOVE Max Payne 3's gunplay and smoothness, I have read that V is similar so I'll be fine with that. While I love those games with VC, being my favorite, euphoria is just too fun.

Well I made it pretty clear but anyway I have changed OP to make it a bit simpler. Now it has nothing to do with 3 era it's just what you prefer.

I said in OP originally it's basically gameplay vs graphics, than on first page I said the most important factor was whether you prefer graphics or gameplay.
