Spider-Vice
The CPU is far too weak for the game. It'll run but it'll lag. let your hopes and dreams turn into burning fire! Ryan_Hull
Thanks for the quick reply! Was looking for one under £300 but not got my heart set of definitely getting one, if I found one under that I'd get it I reckon.
radioman
Also, remember that even if you do get a new and better processor, it will only run decent at low to mediumish settings with that video card..I would recommend at least an AMD A6 Quad core OR Intel I5 OR better for this game... gta4ever_
I have an i7 and gta 4 sometimes lag
lydianduck
Having an i7 doesn't automatically make a pc good for gaming, there are several factors to consider such as cpu core clocks, gpu, ram, etc.
unc13bud
nonononononono. you could run gta iv at resolutions 1024x768 for sure (i have done it), and i think i tested my pentium d 925/930 @ 1920x1200 even. but you can't have a bloated operating system (windows 7) and a video card that sux (HD 5450) as well. you can have only one of those weaknesses because all of them together make one big fail. if you had windows xp and 9800gt/8800gt, i know you can run it on low settings without even memrestrict commandlines. and no modifcations to the game. you can forget about it with that machine.
