I'll only cry if i'm, literally, the last person on line and then they all run out of stock once I get to the counter/cashier

Imagine that luck. biggrin.gif

Cry for a game? Are you high?

Playing the game will make me cry...To obtain the game I would stab 1000 nuns in the face.

I'll be racking my brain during the install period, manically going through the manual, reading the back of the box over and over, just staring at the screen more or less until the bar eventually hits 100%. The time from the placing the disc into the tray to the opening cutscene will be hellish... but also magical.

It will be a good time to get myself set up too. Put on something comfortable, make a pot of coffee. All those sort of things.

When San Andreas came out my PS2 laser packed it in. Right after I put the disk in, during the loading sequence. I saved up for a while to get it as I was still a kid as well. Didn't cry, but I was devastated. Ended up buying the official guide and read the non-spoilers while my PS2 was getting repaired. Saw the guy that did the repairs recently and felt like back handing him for ruining 4 or so days of my childhood. He could've made it a priority. It was an emergency.

The day I start crying over getting a new video game is the same day I seriously need to reevaluate what I'm doing with my life. So no, I will not be crying over getting the game. The only reason my eyes will be glassy is because of the kush.

Oh, the irony! lol.gif

No, but I will go RPG-style and hold the game proudly above my head, smile on my face. Then, a bubble will appear next to me saying, "VIDEO GAME GET!"

Then I'll be happy.  biggrin.gif

I hope a bird comes down and snatches the game away from you, then you'll actually cry. devil.gif

I will cry not physically, but inside, from my excitement. If you cry physically ... facedesk.gif

Cry? No, but I'll be pleased to have something to sink a ton of time into again, and at the same time satisfied with the thousands of hours I've dumped into IV too. Still can't stop enjoying that game.

I'll cry when I'm THRU killin' tounge.gif

OT, Yeah when the first scene faded in on GTAV Trailer #1 and it was one of the lifeguard stations on Santa Monica Beach and I realized at that instant that GTAV was coming back to Los Santos, yeah, I lost it.

But then the info drought made me cry even more and I'm mostly still cryin' now, 'cept when Rockstar puts out some screenshots or trailers. colgate.gif

I doubt anyone is going to cry, but if you do.. well.. Major props to you, I actually may shed a SINGLE TEAR as I load it up for the first time.. I've never been this excited ever for a game, or.. I may just orgasm in my pants.

I realise (and hope for the OP's sake) this may be a troll thread but I'll say this anyway:

Don't get me wrong I've been a die-hard fan of the GTA series since the beginning in 1997 and can't wait to get my hands on this game, but some of you people take this sh*t to an all new level of f*cked-up.

I was so excited at the launch of gta 4 that I coughed up blood and actually had to be run to hospital. I had to be kept there overnight but fortunately I was able to play the game on one of the hospital tvs smile.gif Good times

Lol, are you joking? If not, it has to be an absurd coincidence that you randomly coughed up blood.

Emergency_Room

Originally I was going to say no and move on but honestly that would just be boring. So instead i came up with a scenario that would result in me crying on launch day.

After I get the game I am going to first leave Gamestop and do something similar to this except yell "I Got GTA V"

Then while it is installing I am going to walk 4 miles back to Gamestop because my car is still in the parking lot. During this time my feet will start hurting because I ran four miles and am walking another four and the pain in my feet will result in me crying. Thankfully Gamestop is by Wal-Mart so when I go get my car I can limp in there and visit the foot care section.

The next morning my feet have gotten so bad I had to be taken to the emergency room. During the time I am there, I will be crying because I am not playing GTA V. Then a few weeks later I am going to cry again because I got the bill from said emergency room visit and I had to pawn my PS3 to pay for it and am no longer able to play GTA V.

I definitely will - cried when I opened my San Andreas copy! Also I will resist watching early unboxing vids on the internet - I want to discover myself what's inside and how amazing the manual yet again will be made by Rockstar wink.gif

Then you must be this guy

On topic no i will never cry over game or film and you should be a man too but no wonder you are an emotional american just like the guy in the video above. angry.gif

I will undoubtedly be jubilant and kick drum pulsations will rock my heart, especially given that I will finally endure the fresh unveil of a Grand Theft Auto game in all of its glory, smack dab on the release. smile.gif I have set a precedent to bolt down to my local GameStop no later than 9:30 AM. I am actually curious as to how many fans in my vicinity will partake in the midnight launch. Surely, there will be those ecstatic gamers, who will fail to acquire sufficient hours of sleep; I may just qualify for this roster. wink.gif

Yes, and this was painfully-agonizing to witness.

I've never cried over obtaining a game that I eagerly anticipate. I just get excited and play.

I won't cry, but when I first played RDR I was completely speechless. I kept standing in different areas and looking at how beautiful the game was. I never did that with a game before. I wouldn't be surprised if the same thing happens with GTA V.
