MrcTOtheJ
If anything like this was implemented I'd stop skiping cab rides. Great ideas TC.
Cazzer14
Thanks for the praise, guys In response to the the fact they get out and run if you fire a gun out the window - can you blame them? What would you do if someone started firing shots out of the back of your car all of a sudden?

What would you do if someone started firing shots out of the back of your car all of a sudden? I'd tell them to stop hoging the damn gun. I think some cabbies should be fine with it though most not. Maybe have it so you can do that classic scenario where the passenger asks the cabbie if they have a gun like in some movies and such. Then you could even borrow it lol, and use it to shoot out of the window.
jamieleng
One of the more annoying things about GTA IV was how the NPC friends would run out of dialog, and after six or seven drives they would never talk again. If this happens (and it sounds like an awesome idea) I hope the devs have ten or twenty conversations that are either randomized or looped. The novelty would run out after a few taxi rides with each of the personalities, just like going bowling did, but I think it'd be fun the first few times. Rockstar are the best when it comes to the amount of records dialogue each character has, but you only realize this when you play other persistent open world games. How many games have three sets of conversations for mission journeys in a vehicle? And it's not like they loop them after the third try at a mission, no, they say "let's just listen to the radio" (or something to that effect) just so the suspension of disbelief isn't broken. It's that sort of care & attention paid to almost every aspect of their games, which makes me put them above almost every other developer. It also makes you realize why this game has taken so long to make.
