It's pretty funny how a sub-par series with a name synonymous with a fish... Took this long to change anything in a noticeable way; and this is what they focus on. Yeah, well, that's just like, your opinion, man. But no okay in all honesty MW 1 was great. Story was new and exciting. Multiplayer was fast and enjoyable. MW 2's story was again awesome but I started to notice about the MP. I think they added too many things without maximizing balance. Most maps were meh, akimbo with certain guns and perks were close to godlike. Now I just laugh at each new entry. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
jamieleng Posted June 4, 2013 Share Posted June 4, 2013 (edited) When Rockstar started a new generation, they used its power to implement things like Euphoria Animation, which hasn't been surpassed in 5-7 years. I know R* didn't create the tech, but they've certainly helped advance it. The best IW (or the shell that was once Infinity Ward) can come up with (and they must think it's special to point it out) is advanced fish AI. Well, RDR had lots of different animal AI & they were also all animated beautifully. Have you seen the companion AI in 'The Last of Us'? Now that's something to shout about. Maybe it was a joke from IW or some sort of internal video just for fun/parody. Somehow they're actually claiming this is only possible in next-gen, like current gen or even past consoles didn't have the power to do something so stupidly simple as fish moving out of the way.
