Driving around with moded cars in the countryside till the sun rises .. Might even be an iCEhancer specifically for GTA V made (depends if the guy feels like doing it), but barring that there will be plenty of other ENB mods. Some people did it for GTA IV but it wasn't very popular, not many people play it, but GTA San Andreas is still going and people still play SAMP, one of my favourite servers still has just as many people online as they did 5 years ago. No. Why should I respect a company who treats the PC gaming as some last sh*t on earth. Also, I bought that game and I got the rights to do what I please, I find the work some people do better than R*s, along with R*'s game, it's an epic combo. Just against people that think they're better in orange with plastic hood ornaments. I just don't get that whole vibe. I also don't see what car customisation adds to the game, for instance. Rockstar have stated in the past they are very happy to have modders mod their games. Infact Rockstar have often used mods and videos of mods to promote their titles. The ONLY time Rockstar and the modding community have had "confrontation" is over multiplayer mods, even then for the most part decent modders agreed to make their mp mods work off line only. Here is a quote from Rockstars news wire promoting the use of mods :- They also let their readers know about Red Dead Desert '12, a new mod for GTAIV PC that gives you a wide open desert to explore, including cliffs, big rocks, a cave mine, an airfield, oil refinery, dirt trails, new vehicles and a whole lot more. http://www.rockstargames.com/newswire/arti...ing-gtaiv-.html So if Rockstar are very happy with their games being modded and don't consider it "disrespectful" why would you ? If they wanted bright glossy wannabe real looking high contrast graphics thats what they would set it as the first place. Some of the textures people consider "high res" look so cheap as well like certain cobblestone sidewalks and the streets Ive seen look like crap to me. They are almost just a way for a PC player to try and argue that PC is elite over other platforms just because you can make sh*t higher contrast and hopefully be able to squeeze 30 fps out of the deal put it up on youtube and brag about their ram. As a matter of fact is because of the community mods that the game have a longer life. But I think the problem here is that most of console players aren't aware of what all this means, reason why there is so much hate. I'm expecting the game too be good enough without any enhancements (the first time I played it I had to raise the saturation up), but when I'm done with it, for sure I'll play with the visuals. oh and I'm sure Rockstar gets plenty of ideas from the mods out there. The only reason Im replying is because I feel you took what I said out of context. I said GTA developers as in, individual people. Not the company Rockstar, Im sure they love anybody or anything that promotes their game to stay relevant that I wouldnt disagree with.
