Preference: Smaller city with alot of interiors OR Larger city with way less interiors

    • Smaller City - more buildings you can enter, more detail etc; but the area is limited?

    • Larger City - less interiors, generic blocks, weird windows; but a sprawling area to drive in etc.?

Some people are complaining about the size of the new Los Santos, but have you ever considered the depth of the city? It may be smaller than some of you expected, but hopefully a lot of buildings with have those magical doors that actually open! The city in general might have more attention to detail and it'll feel like you're walking round an exciting, life like city.

This is just a theory of course, but I'd personally much prefer to compromise on the area of the city if it has more to do in it. GTA IV just felt like a big, empty space.

Opinions?

what IV was good... some building we can go into. others locked off. rather have a larger map to drive in then going inside buildings.

its GTA not Sims.

Doesn't really matter i'd still want a larger city, so larger city it is.

Larger.

Most of the time I'm probably just driving and flying around. So more roads and building are better in that case.

There should be a "Larger City - Less country" option.

My oh my, do we have a biased poll here. The whole point of making a poll is to pin multiple options against each other without writing down the option the poller doesn't like. And clearly our beloved poller doesn't want a large city.

The city isn't small though?

I would shrink the images, but I'd rather shove the picture in your face so you realise your stupidity.

It's funny how you use the Observatory pic to justify the city size

Because it does? Or am I missing something here?

I see that our "small city" crowd has found a new topic to "convert" us moto_whistle.gif

Either way, so far according the poll results more people want a smaller but more detailed and interactive city.

This poll is as biased as it gets.

And,no, I'm not a member of "small city crowd ";I'm a fence sitter myself.

Biased poll? I've made my point about the chance of the city being smaller than we expected, but full of detail - then included a poll to find out other peoples opinions. I can't see how the actual options are biased? If you like buildings that you can enter and are willing to compromise on the size of the city, then choose the first one. If you prefer a large, sprawling area to drive around in etc. then choose the second option. Not very complicated now, is it?

Ok, you've got a city, along with about 5-6.. MAYBE MORE Towns, now.. I'm guessing one of those town should be to the size of IV's Albany (Spelt it wrong dnt give a sh*t) Now, the city is roughly the size of LS, IV's City. With more detail and most likely more interiors and such (Hopefully), along with the surrounding areas and underwater area, people who think the game is small.. Is a twat, I couldn't give a sh*t if there is more then one City.. I know how big the game world is, I ain't worried. You worried? Stfu.

"..more buildings.." sound objectively much more positive than "..less interiors, generic blocks, weird windows.." making it sounds biased towards the smaller city option. If the countryside was only somewhat smaller we could have the best of both worlds; Decent sized city with enterable buildings etc etc, and large/expansive countryside.

It's one of the most deceiving pictures you can find. This and the Atomic Blimp one. They show the city as much smaller than it actually appears in the blueprint.

Please refer to the results of the "are you satisfied" poll. Seems as though the majority is more than happy with the size of los Santos... hence... you're a jackass. The city is huge, the game is huge, your Weiner is likely small since you and a few others are the only ones bitching about size. We are the rdf... you guys are the sq's (size queens) wink.gif

I'd prefer the former - a smaller city with depth. But the point you're trying to make is invalid. GTAV's LS will have great depth to it, regardless if the city were to be much bigger. R* knew exactly the amount of depth in which they wanted V to have, and so they would've had an even better LS if it was larger.

The city is big enough, doesn't need to any more bigger IMO. Even though the city is not that small, i vote for smaller city.

Null vote as I want a large city with a lot of buildings you can go in. I don't know why it has to be one or the other.

No one says it has to be one or the other. It's about which one you would prefer out of the two lol.gif

Not the brightest fella are you.

Something tells me that we are on the verge of another mindless 250 plus page thread arguing about the total size of INTERIOR spaces, and how the very same people who drove the "Los Santos size" thread are not satisfied with it. This will be followed of course, by calculations using the same type of formula that uses made up numbers pulled out of thin air. sarcasm.gif
