Drunk camera After reinstall!

Ok so im just gonna describe everything that has happened from the time I bought GTA IV.

Few years back I bought a retail version of IV, installed it. I got the drunk camera so I searched about it on google and found a video here

I installed it and it worked! i didn't know if it was a patch or whatever but It worked. I finished the game and left it.

Now, a few days ago I downloaded the 1.0.7.0 patch from Rockstar and installed it but GTA IV stopped working for some reason. So i did a system restore, everything started working again except that there were no more fonts in the menu, or anywhere sad.gif

I uninstalled everything and did a clean reinstall, now I'm stuck with the Drunk Camera and as you may know, that the video above is no longer available. I tried many patches (1.0.4.0) but none of them worked. I am still getting the Drunk Camera constantly.

Heres what I remember of the patch I had:

1) its name is Razor1911

2) When starting the game, I was first shown the Razor logo when some retro sounds.

PLEASE help me, if anyone knows where that patch is available then please give me a link. I can't find it using Google.

OR

If you know a good patch then also provide a link to that. Remember, I need the 1.0.4.0 Patch.

Thank You

Razor1911 is not a patch but a crack. It allows people to play pirated games. GTAF doesn't support piracy and therefore nobody will be giving you any information about it. However if you have a legit copy of the game there are official solutions to fix it. Any chance you have Bitdefender installed?

Yes, I have an official game, and I would like to find a solution. I already tried the official 1.0.4.0 patch but to avail. No, I don't have bitdefender installed, but I can install it though...

Do you have GTAIV or EFLC? Also, where did you get the game from? Do you still use any patches or cracks? What anivirus/firewall software you use?

I have GTA IV (the Niko one), I told you earlier that I used to run the game with Razo1911's crack but after updating to 1.0.7.0 it stopped working and even a system restore didn't fix it. Thats why I reinstalled the game and now I can't find the 'crack' that I used previously, and thus I can't get rid of the Drunk camera. I'm using AVG antivirus and Windows default Firewall. I don't see how that could be the problem since the game used to work, and is still working (only the Drunk Camera problem)

Right now I'm downloading the 1.0.7.0 patch from Rockstar and then I'll download the Games For Windows LIVE (the latest version) to avoid the xlive.dll error. I hope that this fixes the drunk camera.

Well, I didn't ask you what you USED to use, but IF you STILL use any third party files. No wonder it stooped working since you tried to update crack that was coded to work with particular version. Since GTAF's rules prohibit any discussions of warez/piracy we can't help you locating it. "Drunk camera" is an anti-piracy measure implemented by R* game which makes illegal copies of the game unplayable. It's archived by checking game's files through SecuROM. This takes us to the importance of what antivirus/firewall you using since Bitdefender was blocking SecuROM and as result activating anti-piracy measures on legit copies of the game.

Having "drunk camera" doesn't qualify game as working since you can't actually play it. You also didn't mention anything about GFWL error message which also could be the cause of your problem. You're on the right path, but make sure to delete the actual game's folder from your Program Files before re-installing the game. Because normal uninstall procedure removes only original games' file and since crack is not original file it might still be in a folder and could be the cause of the problem.
