EvilFuture
I know this is a weird and short topic, but what is your favorite fruit? I would like to thank the cantaloupe that I am eating right now for the inspiration for this thread. Anyway, my favorite fruit is a tie between oranges and cantaloupe. I just... I just f*cking LOVE fruit, man.

EvilFuture
iFruit ... No seriously, watermelon (especially here in South Africa on a hot summer day) You know, there's a lot of fruits I haven't ever had before, and strangely as it sounds, watermelon is one of them. Typhus
Dragon Fruit. The taste is mildly reminiscent of a Watermelon, but it is by far the most beautiful fruit out there. The name, the colouration, the way in which the outer skin resembles the scales of a Dragon. Every so often, I'll buy one of these specially, pricey but totally worth it for something so gorgeous. Girish
Litchi is, by far, the best thing that I've ever tasted. Unfortunately, we only get them in the monsoon season over here and you can't store them for long. Also, they're damn costly. Watermelon would take the second spot followed by pomegranates and mangoes.
Dnero
Banana and Mangoes Orange too I guess, but I only drink it.

DEALUX
This is tough. I can't pick a favorite but I absolutely love fruit too, such as pineapple, banana, orange, kiwifruit, grape, strawberry, raspberry, watermelon, peach, pear, cherry, and others I probably can't remember. I have yet to eat lime, but its flavor is my favorite fruit flavor. I don't know why I love it so much. GunWrath
+1, gotta love the juice as well. Nom nom nom. I buy cartons/cans of the juice and drink it far too quickly @Girish, I honestly can say I've never heard of Litchi before. I had to google. Kiffster
Ok, so my favorite fruits are watermelon, litchi, kiwi, banana, tangerine/satsuma (we call them naartjie ), pear, mango, grapes, apple, orange and sometimes pineapple...
GreatGig
Dragon Fruit. This has to be the most disappointing fruit I've ever tried. As you said, the name, the look of it, everything tells you it's going to be awesome yet I found it to be the blandest thing I've ever eaten. It's nice, but bland. Also, that has to be the most colourful dragon fruit I've seen. I've only ever seen it white. My favourite fruits are bananas and cherries. Mix them up with some Greek yogurt and you've got one beautiful breakfast. One of the best things I'd recommend trying is making a cherry glaze for ribs. The most phenomenal addition to an already tasty cut of meat.
RedDagger
I like lemons, though if it had to be one that I'd eat lots of I'd go for grapes. Nice and sour.
LittleBlueTroll
Kiwi is nice, i like just cutting a bit off the top and eating the middle, the same way you eat a boiled egg. And i love plums and peaches

Moonshield
Avocados or tomatoes with bananas coming up third, and then maybe mangoes. There's just so much you can do with tomatoes, and avocado with some sea salt is my favorite snack.
