IcePhoenix
As much as San Andreas is considered one of greatest achievements, the game – like any other gta game – still has some problems. The pedestrians seen in the image below, are marooned – for a lack of better words – on a single pathway and will keep on walking back and forth from either end of the pathway. http://i.imgur.com/EoeKjlE.jpg This the only location I know that has this problem. If you know of any other location with similar or other pedestrian pathing issues, please post a pic of it here with a description of the problem. If you know of any fixes for the issue. Please post a link to it. EDIT: link or 640x480 images. {lw. Edited June 4, 2013 by lil weasel
lil weasel
Do you mean that whenever you return to the hotel these NPCs are always there? They're still there after you do other missions or just trip around the island?
DarrinPA
Another spot that has pedestrian path issues is the Emerald Hotel in LV. On the southwest side of the building there is a one-way street that has an angled sidewalk; the pedestrian path runs into the side of the building so sometimes the peds spawn on top of the building causing them to fall once they start walking. IcePhoenix
What i mean is that they go around in circles like this: |------|<<<<<<<<<|------| |------|V*********^|------| |------|>>>>>>>>>|------| | = Pathway border - = Road (length) V/</^/> = Pedestrian walking direction * = Nothing (Just to prevent the diagram from stuffing-up) As you can see they just walk around in circles on a single pathway. lil weasel
You have a Mac, nd your game is v1.01, which is an Original DVD game that has had the Official Patch applied to it. V1.01 is not modable as the Official patch removes the ability to mod. If the game continues to play correctly I shouldn't worry about a localized glitch. IcePhoenix
Are you sure? Because I was able to find a Mac-ported IMG editor and successfully modify my gta3.img folder, even though I have v1.01. Anyways I'm not really worried about this minor issue, I just wanted to know if anyone else had the some problem or had any solutions.
