Does GTA V have a different vibe to it?

I remember when The 1st trailer came out, It felt so wonderful. It was light, airy, breezy, slightly mysterious. Now The vibe is gone. this is when GTA V was in alpha stage I think. I wish I could play that build of GTA V.

From what we've seen, it seems like the atmosphere has changed a bit over time. I'm hoping that feeling is still going to be there for the beach areas.

I get a different vibe from it due countryside, animals and three protagonists. Feels refreshing.

Only vibe I get is epicness. I believe when your playing the game though, the Vibe and Feeling you get is like having a Orgasm.

I think it was more of the music than anything else. It still looks nice and sunny at least.

I agree actually. The color correction and lighting in the trailers feel kinda more darker and less colorful, but it might be because it's set at smoggy sunset.

I prefer the lighting in this screenshot. It seems very inviting and sunny. Like California.

It might be because of timecyc setting though. Various settings have different color correction, etc.

Nah, seems the same to me. Just the graphics got alot better rather than it being GTA IV with new textures.

I think it's just the tone of the music in the first trailer, the game still looks like sunny California.. at least in the city

Don't forget also the first trailer didn't show quite as many action sequences. It gave a general sense of the city whilst the second trailer was more focussed on the characters and parts of the story.

I understand what you mean OP, everything about Trailer 1 gave the game this sort of next level vibe Ithink its mostly due to the song selection, when the violins start playing It made me think this game will be on another level compared to other sandbox games it just sounds majestic for some reason.

I think the vibe has changed now that the game isn't a mystery anymore, we know who the balcony guy is, we know who the guy in the red car is and we finally know what the big change was that warranted making this a numbered GTA.

That's because it was nothing more than location. It's mostly just in your head.

Its the soothing sound of the waves and the music and the lack of violence in the 1st trailer. Ican't wait to go to the beach at sunset and chill like the opening scene in trailer one

The music is what sets the trailers apart. There was a sort of a regal vibe to the first trailer - because of the music.

The same regal vibe can be somewhat felt in the Michael Trailer too!

Regal is the perfect word for Trailer 1 icon14.gif like I said earlier as soon as the violin starts playing it just made the game feel like its on some next other level compared to other sandbox games.

I agree, man. The first trailer simply was majestic. But the second trailer failed to replicate the magic of the first trailer, I'm afraid.

Maybe I'm the only one who thinks that the game looked better in the first trailer.

The lightning in trailer 1 looks sharper, more pronounced. In sum, the 1st trailer looks sunnier.

I'm afraid by the time V is out, trailer 1 will look like another game. Let's hope not.

The game looked more bright and happy in the first trailer, the screens for the later stuff i've seen haven't been as sunny. I hope it really does feel like SA we all know and love

I never felt San Andreas to be "sunny". At least not as much as I felt with Vice City.

Trailer 1 and Michael's trailer felt very sunny and vibrant imo.

It was most definetly the music for the 1st trailer that gave it that majestic feel. It was also our first glimpse of GTAV and we knew very little about it thus the impression given was much more dramatic and mysterious. The colour scheme and palette have not changed. Its even more vibrant looking with the latest screens we have been shown.

Vice City always had a rainy, stormy feel to it for me.... Like it's real life counterpart Miami, Vice City too experienced regular hurricanes and thunderstorms.
