HOW'S ANNIE? Posted June 3, 2013 Share Posted June 3, 2013 Not that I didn't enjoy The Lost and Damned (favourite of IV and the Episodes) but I feel they could have done a whole lot more with a biker-based storyline for V (especially with the multi protags). The main reason being that this is California, where biker gangs prosper, how often do you see them driving around in in NYC? They could have included a whole lot more rivals gangs in V too. This, it worked in TLAD because its a smaller more intimate story. Can you imagine being restricted to biker missions and duties for the duration of V? Infact that sounds worse than IV ever was. I'm music lover and i enjoy almost all genres of music. The same is true for everything else. Band "Lost", bakers is extremely dumb group of people with very dumb ideology. Three real assholes too that you just love to hate. Because the three players they have at the moment are a little TOO likeable - Michael's the family man, Franklin's the dude trying to make something of himself, and Trevor's the lovable nutjob. There's been so many good characters in recent Rockstar games, but you always root for them. I wanna be a bad guy. I know I'm gonna act like one from time to time as Michael, Franklin and Trevor, but like with Niko, Johnny and Luis I'll be doing that on my OWN time. I think an unscrupulous crack dealer, a racist biker, and an authoritarian douchebag with a stick up his ass would make a perfect little side story. You know about 5% of the storyline yet you talk like you finished the game 3 times let the game come out bro , maybe there is more to the biker gangs that haven't been mentioned, Trevor seems to be the protagonist who will most likely encounter them , you don't hit a biker with a baseball bat expecting no retribution...... As I said, I'm ok to play as any representative of the criminal world or cop - as long as the story and the main character are good. I think that Johnny was dumb, the whole band and their ideology were dumb. TLAD was much weaker than TBOGT in many aspects, including missions and story Get out of here man, TBOGT storyline was written for whint GTA Kids who can't keep their attention so every mission had to be all crazy and blockbuster like, the fact that Rockstar changed their original planned story is proof of that, TBOGT was suppose to end on a dark note to with the clubs being closed, Tony vanishing from the city, etc. TLAD follows the original story arc, that's why there's more connecting points to GTA IV, most of that was ditched in TBOGT in favoring of pleasing fans who kept saying the game was too boring and being all wah wah wah where's my huge weapons and gold pimp cars? In turn it affected the story which is why Tony is the only character who make a lasting impression, everyone else feels retconned and shoehorned in to work around the new story. Sorry man, you picked the worst possible example when mentioning characters. There's zero character development for most of the biker gang.
