resevoir dogs and collateral

Which specific characters from those films may I ask?

Mr blonde/mr white/joe cabot from reservoir dogs and tom cruise character in collateral

Ahh interesting, I think Michael looks like an older Mr.Blonde.Tbh don't see the other two but fair enough it's your opinion.

The Scottish Guy

Maybe family wise but I don't think Michael is a mobster.

Yeah of course, although we still don't know for sure whether he was a part of/had connections with the mob yet. Neil/Heat obviously has a huge impact towards the heists, the missons, the overall game. But I think R* drew a lot of heavy influence from The Sopranos when creating Michael and developing his story.

Michael's temper:

Michael's family:

Michael's therapist (although it's a woman in TS):

Neil McCauley is very similiar to Michael. All of you trying to piece together every single parallel between the two are just wasting your time. Michael is not a carbon copy of Neil. I can't believe 'The Score'(2001) has not been brought up. Nick Wells is an aging thief when he realizes that this life is no longer fit for him, and he is ready to get out. Robert De Niro plays Wells and he is an extremely proficient thief who actually wears equipment very similar to Michaels rappelling gear from the FIB mission. You all need to watch 'The Score'

Tony Soprano mixed with the main guy from the Goodfellas. When I heard what Michael's story was about I thought about Goodfellas like a what if story or a part 2.

Yeh but Michael is the opposite isn't he, he has got out of the bank robbing business and now wants to get back into it. Unlike Robert De Niros character who wants to get out of the 'game'

That was directed by the same guy that voiced Yoda, so you know it's good. It was more about seeing which parts of Heat were influential to the game and which were not. I didn't really see it as a waste of time, personally. Even Tommy Vercetti wasn't Tony Montana, most people realise it's just certain references. It wasn't about trying to prove Michael is Neil McCauley, just the influence which you acknowledged at first.

I just saw Heat it was alright 7/10 Just for Al Pacino and Robert De Niro's acting love those guys. But yeah I seen a lot of similarities between Heat a V. The heists, Michael and Trevor's characters there is even a Black guy as the getaway driver in one heist.

Just watched the score on netflix. Seems like a plausible mission parody in V

As a HUGE Sopranos fan, Michael is NOTHING like Tony Soprano. The only thing they have in common is the therapist. Your videos prove just that. Completely different. Michael is soft, Tony isn't by a longshot.

The only similarity between him and McCauley is they rob banks, THATS IT.

Tony Soprano? Lol, come on man.

Rock Howard

I made a thread long ago back before the game was released when we only had a few trailers to go off stating that Michael reminded me a lot of Tony Soprano. The comparison still stands now because of the parallels/similarities.

You can dress up Michael as Walter White from breaking bad, steal a trailer and park up somewhere in the desert. Unfortunately you can't cook meth
