ivarblaauw
well, i recommend Red Dead Redemption, it's one of the best R* games they created. If you don't wanna play the SP, then play the MP. It's always fun to just ride with friends and kill some mexican army soldiers, kill some bears or kill some United States marshals... Next to that: i sometimes still play Grand Theft Auto 4 and of course its fun to replay GTA San Andreas. and maybe for some NON R* games you can play Call of Juarez Gunslinger (only 15 bucks), Assassin's Creed franchise and maybe Skyrim or Mafia 2. goodluck

Rick88
I just got Defiance and personally I'm loving it. A lot much stuff to do. There's also games like Skyrim as well where there is a TON of things to do. So, personally I'd recommend those. As others have said, Red Dead Redemption is also perfect. TwistedMedia
For me, I'm getting The Last of Us next friday, and then hopefully by the time I've completed that there will be something else to tide me over until V. But I also play IV, RDR, Fight Night Champion, and Gran Turismo

bshs95
Since you have a PS3, then how about PS+. In stead of one game, you get 3 every month. If you just want to buy a game though, then take a look at Skyrim, a fantastic game where you easily can spend 100+ hours. Another option is the Mass Effect-series. All three games are out on PS3. I know the ending of ME3 isn't good, but in spite of that they are fantastic games. If you want something GTA'ish then try Sleeping Dogs. Maybe a bit short, but deffinitely a great game. MikeyBelic
Yeah, tomorrows my English GCSE exam, and after it i am going to buy myself a game, i need to thank myself for long hours of revision. I have a ps3, so dont say to buy Gears of war or Metal Gear Solid Anyways, i would like to buy a new game, tbh, on my ps3 i only have GTA IV Episodes from Liberty City, and i have played it so much that it got boring, thanks Wait until "The Last of Us" is released. It'd be cool to play a survival game about the end of the World after so much revision for your life after school that won't ever happen.

Jesus, how long you been a f*cking gamer!!! Sorry for my out burst my you showed a great lack of knowledge in the greatest gaming series ever made, Metal Gear Solid. *orgasms* Anywho, I find it kinda hard these days finding a game that I like so I mostly stick to games I know I'll like and that is Halo and Rockstar games. But I think I could better help with your question if I knew if you where a story kinda guy or an online eccentric. That matters in our favorite industry. But I will recommend any new Rockstar game but if you are going for a good story and massive replay value, then buy Red Dead Redemption.

jolzew1
I'm planning on getting The Last of Us and playing that as slowly as possible to keep me occupied until GTA V. The leaked review is really overboard praising it but Naughty Dog pumps out great games so I'm sure it will be a winner.

Freezer89
The Walking Dead. That adventure from Telltale and not that shooter crap from Activision. Clearly one of the best games I've ever played in the last few years. Actually it's more like an interactive movie.. or rather TV series.

vivalavendredi
I guess you have played through IV and it's Episodes as well as Max Payne 3. If not, play em. I am currently playing these titles and I can recommend them: - Tomb Raider (really brillant after all these poor TR titles in the past, I am halfway through it) - Uncharted 3 (a little bit linear but also a great title, I am close to the end)
Corndawg93
Seeing that you have a PS3 you should take advantage of their exclusives They would be inFAMOUS 2 Uncharted 1 - 3 God of War 3 Heavy Rain The Last of Us And non exclusives Red Dead Redemption And Undead Nightmare Max Payne 3 L.A. jamieleng
Far Cry 3, it´s a very good game. Yeah, I'm playing it at the moment & it's much better than its predecessor, especially the story & voice acting. I've just got to the second island & from what I've seen, it looks pretty much identical to the first one. Also, the npc's all look identical & they repeat the same lines over & over & over ad infinitum. I was playing poker in the first little town you visit on the second island & one of the bar patrons was saying the same line every minute. Unfortunately, you can't shoot in that area, so I couldn't shut him up (like I would've done in RDR). When will developers learn that it's better to make npc's say nothing, instead of sounding like an automaton which is totally immersion breaking. So how much of the game do I have left to do? To OP. I read that you haven't played RDR yet, so I don't know why you are here asking what game you should play next. Go & buy RDR GOTY Edition right now. Why are you still here? I said NOW DAGNAMMIT! Freezer89
Is Far Cry 3 better than Just Cause 2? Haven't played either and heard great things about both. You can't really compare both games. FC3 is a FPS and in Just Cause 2 you have the advantage with the grappling hook. You basically can travel from one end to another in the air with parachute(s) and the hook. However if you want a good storyline I suggest FC3. If you want to cause chaos then JC2.. or also FC3.
