DeeDeeWGFA
How's this for a starter gaming pc? Never really done the pc gaming thing, san andreas, vice city and a couple other old ps2 era games. Will this run any current gen games. Case: Cooler Master Centurion 534 + Plus Processor: Intel Core2 6600 2.4GHz Processor cache: 6MB RAM memory size: 4GB Hard drive capacity: 250GB Graphics: ATI Radeon HD 5550 512MB 6 USB ports (2x front, 4x rear) It's £
Wolf68k
It's old and out dated. You'd barely be able to run BF3 For an Intel CPU you need at least an i5-2500. For graphics; from AMD/ATI at least a 5970 or nVidia GTX 560 Ti. Keep in mind that even these are starting to get old as well, but not quite out dated yet. RAM at least 8GB, 4 can work but 8 will be better. The rest doesn't matter too much; HDD, how many USB ports, the case.
yoječ
The rig from the first post is far overpriced.
DeeDeeWGFA
Cheers guys, think I'm gonna go for this one - E8500 processor @3.16Ghz, DDR2 4GB ram, Geforce GTX 260 graphics card, additional cooling fans for long life. Made an offer for £
DeeDeeWGFA
So I bought the one in my last post and it looks pretty nice, inside and out. Only problem is my tv doesn't pick up any signal when I link it with the VGA cable. It has a serial port for DVI, will I need to get a DVI - VGA cable or is there something else it could be? Wolf68k
You can get a DVI to HDMI cable, that is if your TV has HDMI. You'll get better quality that was too.
Finn 7 five 11
A good choice to start PC gaming, if you only spent a couple hundred pounds. Make sure to pick up Bully as well. Soon enough you'll be tired of those games and want to advance to something a little better though, when that time comes, come here and we will help you.
