It's not a weird choice of naming, especially if your surname is Franklin. There are literally tonnes of John Kennedy's because of... John Kennedy. And it's not like people can complain about how Rockstar name a murderous psychopath/thief after one of the founding father's of America, when in Saints Row 4 you literally play as the President.
