I'll probably check out the airport first. They haven't shown very much of it and I want to find out if the airliners are pilot-able.

I'll just go to the peak of a mountain near the city and have a look how big the city and the map really is.

I'm going to grab a bike and locate the LS Custom Shop to see what's added and, I'm going to Also like most people try to find Grove Street.

Probably start at Michaels house, then drive down the to the city of Los Santos, check out the detail of the place on foot, then head to the countryside to check all of that out.

I'm leaving LS immediately and going to find what other communities exist, be it towns or cities or what have you.

The Leprechaun

Honestly, where the road takes me. If I see something interesting go towards it, stop and appreciate, and then find the next interesting thing.

I'll pick a baseball bat and go see my therapist.

Therapy is overrated.

I've been doing a pretty decent job at putting this game in the back of my mind to avoid the inevitable bouts of frustration at not being able to play it, but this thread has amped up my excitement a ton!

I tried to think of something to put as what I want to do first, but it's just too overwhelming with all the possibilities and different lifestyles you can live. I think I'm going to start as Michael and see how the rich live in Los Santos, and go from there.

That's the plan at least, odds are I'll be sitting in the same spot for a while while trying to pick my jaw up off the floor.

I will admit the game dropped off my radar for a very long time, however since the last character trailer was released I've been so excited.

I have several ideas of areas I'm going to explore first at certain times (in game clock time) but I know for certain the game is just going to blow me away in ways I didn't think it would.

Day one I'm not even going to complete the first mission. As soon as I can I will grab a bicycle make my way out of the city and then explore for hours. This is what I did with SA and will always remember how amazing it was soaking everything up at that slow pace. Probably take a photo at the top of the highest mountain of the bike that got me there.

Umm.. sorry to burst your bubble, but we will probably be forced to do the first mission like in IV..

Jump in car and test out the "improved" driving physics.... flatten some peds, steal some cars, run from cops... get a feel for the game...

I may even cycle out into the wilderness or the desert, deliberately shoot my tires and try to out run a cougar or what-not on flats. lol.gif

Nice thread, though as soon as free roaming is available I will be exploring every inch of the map. I have no clue or wishes for which places I want to see first, it's so many nice places I want to see.

Were we forced in IV? I remember driving from the cargo ship to Romans, couldn't I have just gone somewhere else instead?

I dont understand it. They act like they actually grew up there. An in the game there wasnt even anything to do there besides save.

GTA San Andreas is my all time favorite video game. It played a big part in my youth. So yes, you can say i grew up there.

I will find a knife, turn off the HUD, find a cesna, fly into the mountains and crash into a dense forest/mountainous area. Then i'll proceed to find my way home without the map, with only a knife to fend off viscous wild animals.

This actually sounds great. While flying you'd have to be very high and keep looking up (so you can't see the surrounding environment) and then just randomly crash somewhere as you rapidly go down.
