It still hasn't been officially acknowledged by R*, but I highly doubt it's fake. It's not a location in IV, and the submarine hasn't been seen from that angle, so a person would have to model everything in that scene on their own, and it's in line with the positioning of things as confirmed by the blueprint of LS(and it came out pretty much just after the blueprint was revealed) and as far as some trolls go, they usually don't go that far. I feel that everything in that screenshot is in line with it being from V. Even the color palette: the weather is more overcast than usual in it, and we've seen how the game will occasionally look more washed-out on smoggy days in Trailer 2 (it's probably one of the random weather conditions). Image error analysis also can't be used on video games due to their very nature, so whatever conclusions people came up with by using that don't have any basis.
