Michael Mcreary ? is Mike Irish

could Michael be a Mcreary, its always been in the back of my head, i mean my theory is that he is Italian, but his son has red hair, yeah i know doesn't always mean Irish heritage, it could be dyed, but what if he is a Mcreary,

 

please dont troll this thread, its just always been a back thought, plus i dont think we ever had an Irish protagonist, we have had italian (tommy)..... not saying he is irish, but what do you think

 

the only thing if Michael is a mcreary, wouldn't of packie and the rest of them known that his relative is one of the most wanted men in the world

However, I think he's likely to be Irish-American rather than Italian-American as many people think. Mainly because of the Heat references and how the main character of that film has an Irish-American background (just going by the name). I'm just going by the name Neil McCauley. Obviously he wouldn't identify as Irish because he's not from Ireland and maybe even his grandparents or great-grandparents weren't. But basically it means that he has Irish ancestry, most likely. (I don't think the actor who plays him is Irish-American).

as you can see, Michael is NOT with Franklin or Trevor here, it seems like he is with 2 other white guys... (1 of them could be trevor, but Franklin is nowhere to be seen) now either these are hired men, and trevor and franklin are doing something else in this heist, or these could be his relatives, if he is a mccreary

Yeah, I get the feeling he has Irish heritage as well, but he's generations removed from that culture so it doesn't really play into his life outside of an Irish surname. I don't think he's a McReary, but I'm still a little curious as to why we don't know his surname yet.

Well taking into account that Michael is made up of pixels which is really just a bunch of code on a disc, I'm going to assume he had no biological parents since Michael himself is not a biological being.

Come on, part of the fun of engaging in the story of a video game (and a movie, for that matter) is suspending disbelief and allowing oneself to forget that these things are fictional. Obviously Michael in reality is just textures, models, code, animations and audio files recorded from an actor's performance, but who is he in the story? Ultimately though this question has no bearing on anything other what the guy's surname will be, of course.

 

Yeah, it's a stupid question. But there's often a surprising lack of imagination on this forum.

I think this for two reasons the first because Michael is Loosely based on Neil Mccauley from heat, the name Mcreary would be a slight reference in the same way Tommy was a reference to the name Tony from scarface. The second is the Mcreary's we've met also seem to have a thing for pulling bank heists. Imagine if Packie came to LS to join his older cousin Mike on a few jobs, that would be crazy.

He could easily be of Irish descent, and we know that V is connected to IV as far as continuity is concerned. So it's plausible that he could be a McReary. But i don't feel that his son having red hair nor his apparent similarities to McCauley from HEAT, is sufficient evidence for such an assumption.

But seriously. He could always just not post lots of redundant topics. Not that this one is particularly bad, but you know... He isn't actually obliged to post them. He just does anyway. Everyone's told him exactly what they think about them, and he does it anyway.

 

Have you ever considered that maybe he doesn't care to 'improve' maybe he just likes hitting the 'new topic' button?

 

If he doesn't want people's opinions, he shouldn't post. If he does want people's opinions, then he will just have to take them as they come and get over it. It's only the internet after all.

All of his posts are speculation, and while there is nothing wrong with that, it just gets a bit much sometimes. I mean, at the end of the day it's fruitless, but sometimes it's nice to have something to consider even when it's not particularly important.
