For example IV was very dark, San Andreas was early morning, Vice City Stories was dark. What time should V begin? Personally I'd like 0600 or maybe even a little bit earlier so when I start off as Michael I can stand out on the balcony, stretch and yawn, wearing my heart boxers and watch the sun coming up over the city...a new dawn on a new gta setting! The former would make for a very boring topic. I think that because the trailers focus on the character's daily lives the action is going to start later than the first scene of the game. We're probably going to start off with whatever character's daily routine still being normal, so we'll probably see the game start off in the morning. That's how I see it anyway. GourangaMaster Posted June 3, 2013 Share Posted June 3, 2013 The introduction to our arrival in LC for gtaiv being at night suited the atmosphere of LC pefectly, namely a gritty metropolis much like real life new york. Likewise i hope GTAV does the same and we are introduced to LS in early morning or evening in the orange/purple glow over a palm tree lined silhouette of the los santos skyline. This actually gave me ideas about how I will start playing the game, which got me a little excited for Sep 17th. If I'm just free roaming and doing side missions I'll start around 9AM since the darkness makes me lift up my head higher to see better, pretty annoying. TBH I didn't really like how IV started off in darkness, although that mood did suit the start. Had to turn my tv brightness up and when I got Niko to the safe house I just watched some tv and waited for the sun to come up then righto, on with the show and start the missions!
