Kirsty
Update: 4th June Rockstar have tweeted, in response to a follower question, that they will not be attending E3. Take Two Interactive (publishers of R* and 2KGames) however are still listed as attending, as they have been from the beginning. It has always been the case that GTA games are not shown at E3. However, I'm sure that there will be plenty of talk on the game due to how much anticipation there is for it. We can only hope that they will include it in any montages they may show at console conferences. Link Original Post We've had several topics on this tonight, so I just want to confirm a few things after looking into it. E3 Official Website People are claiming that the E3 Insider website is fake or fanmade. However, if you visit the E3 official website and scroll down, you will see a banner to its sister site. E3 Insider Website If you visit the site and choose list of exhibitors, you can select Take Two Interactive. As GTA V publishers, it can only be listed under them, rather than Rockstar Games. GTA V is listed there under Games & Products. Now, we have absolutely no information as to what exactly is going to be shown (or not). Could just be information we already know. Stalls with the pre-order posters to promote the game. A replay of trailers. A closed doors secret demo to press. Anything. It's also interesting to note that PC is listed there alongside consoles. The only thing we do know is that this E3 Insider site is very real and is listing GTA V there, BUT we also know Rockstar do not normally attend E3 to showcase GTA games. E3 is still over a week away, so there will be no official discussion topics on it until nearer the time. I hope that's all cleared up, and I have my fingers crossed alongside everyone else that this really means they will be there this year!
