Another city or Not?

Has anyone considered the blueprint may not be the final version?

I do feel spoiled seeing pretty much the entire layout of Los santos but to be fair it isnt that early on. THe game is out in a bit over 3 months and im pretty sure GTAIV around the same time prior to release had the LC map revealed on the official site.

I think there will be another urban area but smaller than LS. Too many highways into the wilderness.

I think this also. The way the pieces are put together feels like something is missing for the city. We shall see.

The map was leaked a few weeks before and on the website, it at first showed an outline of the City (no roads and what have you) and later on, a view of the city.

I voted yes on the outside chance that there may just be a Reno type of place. Gambling could be a Michael addiction, it would add to his therapy filled life. An Amsterdam if you will. Jesse Ventura had an idea of a tiny Amsterdam in Minnesota.

None the less if my playground is one large city to raise a ruckus in with small towns to run to, I can live with that.

 

I used to visit a small town in Nebraska called Riverton. A person with a good arm could throw a rock from end to end and clear main street entirely.

 

That was something I liked about San Andreas recreating that. It will be even better in GTAV.

 

But still where I live now is a small town, pretending to be a city. Saint Paul MN. So is another city possible, maybe, just depends on perspective.

While I would have loved to have seen a San Diego-like place, I don't think we're going to see another major city. At the most, we'll probably get a large town that's bigger than the other small towns on the map that could seem like a small city, but not another full fledged urban area. For now, I believe Rockstar when they say it's just LS and the surrounding countryside.

I'd much rather 1 huge city that feels like a city, than 2 cities that are shrunken feeling.

You have to admit that there's a pretty big difference between properties and a whole extra city.

Palm Springs so we can rob a casino

Im really hoping palm springs is in as a small city/town but im yet to see any sceens really showing any evidence it is in. Considering GTAV is a game centered on heists, not having a casino hit would just be wrong. Palm springs is perfect for this.

I'm still in the "There's another city" camp, smaller than Los Santos, but bigger than the towns scattered about. Possibly with a smaller regional airport as well.

I think there needs to be another city or at least several very very big towns. A map this big would feel odd with only Los Santos being the main built up area. 2 hidden cities (you know the ones I'm on about!) would be dreamy

 

2 hidden cities + Los Santos = happy fans for MANY years!! Just think of the awesomeness!!!

I'm confident there will be another smaller city, but nothing on the scale of Los Santos. Something like an Alderney sized city - San Diego?

 

If not... at least we know there is small towns in the countryside at least. Makes the trip somewhat worthwhile.

... that would complete the remake of that area. They are not in GTA V thats confirmed, but why not coming as two Addons?

I can't believe that people still believe that they will get whole new cities in DLC's. Do you know that city-building is what Rockstar start at the very beginning of their project(s)? Do you realize the amount of research that goes into their city crafting?

 

Moreover, where will SF and LV pop up in the map? In what would originally be waterbodies in the vanilla V.

 

As for my belief, La Puerta is another city. A smaller city than LS.

i do hope there is like a large town [high rised flats and shops]... but doubt there's a large city up north. not enough space.
