I am strongly against woman abuse and I can't stand more than anything when reading an article in the newspaper or somewhere else about how a man punched or hit a woman first. If some huge 6'3 woman attacks me in the street corner in the middle of the night of course I would hit her back (if I were a guy, and as a girl I'd do the same thing).

 

However, a girl I know who was a little tipsy, found out her boyfriend cheated on her, so she went and slapped him. He punched her in the face and knocked her unconcious.

 

I thought it was a little unfair, I understand slapping him wasn't necessary, but responding in that manner is unreasonable. What I'd do in that situation is push her softly so she gets away from me, or turn around (the guy cheated on her, so it was initially his fault.) I dunno though, I think it'd be a heat of the moment thing. After all, guys are way stronger than girls.

@blitz: I'd fight the dude. I wouldn't intervene if they were wrestling for petty things like who'd pay for the hotdogs or why the dude showed up late for prom. But, now the dude has clearly cheated on her, and she doesn't belong to him anymore. That said, I wouldn't mind fighting the girl if she's the culprit and dominating the dude in the fight. I'd connect her with a piledriver.

In that situation as far as I'm concerned she was entitled to a free one. However I don't think a woman has anymore of a right to hit a man than a man has to strike a woman. Still, he definitely had no business responding in the way that he did. A little slap from a woman for doing something he deserved to get a smack for does not give him the right to play UFC with her face. That sh*t cray.

 

Even if she wouldn't have stopped striking him, its really not that difficult for a man subdue a woman in a way that doesn't involve beating the sh*t out of her... especially if she was drunk. For example when she raised her arm to strike all he needed to do was reach out and grab it. From there its not hard to use the momentum to swing her around, and get the other arm (again this is even easier since she was drunk). Hold both arms behind the back at the wrists with one hand and hold the back of the neck with the other. Works especially well if there is a wall near by you can use to place the subject against. She can't hit him and she doesn't get her face broken. Generally a person in this position can be talked down from violence. If not then you hold them until someone comes and takes their crazy ass away.

 

That is still unnecessary though from the situation you describe. The dude should have just took his smack for cheating on her. If not because it is the decent thing to do, then because it makes her look crazy and socially it gives him some justification for screwing around on her. Instead of taking his knocks and going with it, he is now a cheat and an abuser. Class act.

I said nothing about self defense. I'm talking about respect and people doing disgusting things to other people with no reprucussions. I didn't say I'd punch the kid but that child would know that that sh*t is wrong. When children are allowed to do sh*t like that without punishment they dont learn. Like I said if anybody spits on me or in my face they will not walk away unscathed. You people have to understand that I'm not saying that I would f*ck up random people and kids, but in this instance where someone else's bodily fluids are being used to insult....can't let that sh*t slide.

 

 

And about the guy knocking his girlfriend out for slapping him. I dont know what I would have done but she was drunk, he was wrong and I'm surprised nobody fought the guy.
