AND: I am not preordering. I did once and got my copy at around noon by the f*cking postman! If I go to a store I can play it at 9am. Kemo66 Posted June 2, 2013 Share Posted June 2, 2013 I've pre-ordered from Game, only because its the CE version and I have that day off so want to ensure I can pick up a copy as early as poss (not sure I can be arsed on a midnight release tho!) and the store is only a 20min walk from my house. I suspect the local supermarket chains will be stocking plenty, I was in one when CoD BLops II (!?!) released and there were a few guys buying them, some with multiple copies, the store had a whole rack of them, more than enough I suspect. The likes of Game or Gamestation could I guess run out over the first few days, but I'm sure some of the big supermarkets will be ok. I pre-ordered V cause I just don't want the hassle. It's worth the $5 now to reserve the release day copy and that $5 comes off the total on release day. Heck I could pay the whole price if I wanted. I get the pre-order bonus so no complaining there either. I don't get why people wouldn't pre-order if they know they want the game on release day up to +48 hours even just for the pre-order bonus. Up until my pre-order for AC3 last year which arrived 3 days late every pre-order I made from Game in the UK had arrived a day early for the duration of the 4 preceding years of ordering. Johan Posted June 2, 2013 Share Posted June 2, 2013 I've never heard of a game running out of copies at my Gamestop, the worst thing they can tell me is "We don't have the game yet, come back tomorrow" which has happened to me twice already and I doubt they'll say that about V. GTA 360 Posted June 2, 2013 Share Posted June 2, 2013 Why would some1 not pre-order the game if they're gonna buy it on release I'm wondering this too, I mean come on, you'll end up paying the same amount for it, and you are guaranteed to get a copy, and you get access to the blimp if you pre order, plus the poster. Personally I'm pre ordering a copy of the special edition for both the 360 and the PS3 next week from Game. Then I get 2 posters, 2 maps, 2 of whatever map comes in the game box and 2 of the metal boxes and blimp access in the game for both the 360 and PS3, plus the other stuff. I sure would hate to not have the game on release.
