Would you think GTA V is never coming but just an elaborate joke by the gods to tease us? I wouldnt be surprised to be honest but it would hurt Rockstar I think. Remember they prolly picked that date totally at random to soften the blow of the delay in the first place. September 2013 seriously? It would be outright stupid to release GTA V a month and a bit before that. According to some random preview I saw, the game looks almost finished apart from a few bugs and pop-in texture issues that need to be fixed. Dike Nukem Forever was an exception OFF TOPIC: An old 3D realms developer posted on the Gearbox forums about how the game sucked because they didn't want to consult Broussard about the problems due to how high strung he was. The anonymous developer said that Broussard wanted to put the game on consoles which costed more money and several developers including the anonymous developer protested this idea amongst themselves but didn't want to talk to Broussard about it. They stated that the game wouldn't even run on the PS3 without extreme optimisation and the Unreal version they were using was awkward to develop with. They turned high-resolution textures down and slapped on an extreme Depth of Field effect to hide this. Furthermore, when Broussard asked developers how the game was coming along they would respond with "fine" and "It's doing ok" because Broussard was having a hard time trying to keep the company and his game afloat due to lack of funding from the publisher. It says "JUST WHAT IF" OT: T2 don't have to be the ones to announce a delay. The initial delay from the spring 2013 was done by Rockstar as far as I can remember.
