We can see from the trailers that it doesn't look nearly as good as Uncharted 2 and most other websites said it didn't look as good in game as it did in the trailers. Well I guess that's true. The worst thing said about the graphics is that it's slightly upgraded from GTA IV (aka IGN) and most say it's comparable to RDR. So any of those 2 I'm still ok with, GTA has never been about graphics for me. The only reason imo that older gta games have aged so badly is the controls. Durden Posted June 2, 2013 Share Posted June 2, 2013 In the TLoU demo, the graphics didn't look as impressive as the game's marketing materials. And yes, I was playing on my 32" HDTV at 1080p. There are different types of realistic graphics; some just appeal to others more. For instance - my friend is a big GTA fan and makes fun of SR, yet he recently got SR3 on his new PC and he thinks the graphics are better than GTA IV's. redx165 Posted June 2, 2013 Share Posted June 2, 2013 It dont matter if it isnt true 1080, its still gonna be a great looking game and it will be one of the best looking games on this generation's consoles haha no. maybe one of the best looking open world games but deff not one of the best looking games. xbox 360 and PS3 shouldn't even have lasted this long imho because of how it stopped gaming from advancing. even smartphones have games that run on 1080P native resolution now. hopefully next gen only lasts for 4 to 5 years or even lesser unless we want to have similar graphics for the next 10 years Gta v trailer alone looks better than half of the games out for the current systems. And I honestly belive this might be one of the best looking games to ever come out this gen, seeing that it will probably be the last major game to close out this generationof gaming, and its going out with a bang! You do realize that the trailer isn't an actual representation of the game right? It looks the same as MP3, so that's proof this kind of graphics can be achieved. And I can't imagine that the cutscenes in V would look way better than gameplay, that would be a stupid thing for R* to do and they haven't ever done this in the first place. You're acting as if trailers are movies or something, but they are built up from cutscenes and gameplay. But he said it was one of the best looking games this generation. MP3 imo wasn't that good looking compared to others either( played it at 1920x1080 maxed out on PC). it was one of the better looking games in 2012 but it really doesn't looks that good now when you compare it with games from 2013 Hahahahhaha dude you make me laugh. There are no other games that can hold candles to R*'s games on this generation consoles.
