I think she means she's Mary Magdalene, not Mary his mother. Sounds like the guy has seen The Da Vinci Code and 2012 and took things way too seriously. Here's what this bloke said to his followers in 2011. "There's the movie 2012 right? Everyone I suggest you see it, everyone.
