Am I the only one who picked up on this? franklin lookin like a f*ckin backstabbing traitor here.. hope not That's exactly what I thought. I thought he looked like a traitor there as well. Im tired of people thinking one of the three is gonna turn bad and betray the group. We control all three characters, so it would be dumb to make one an antagonist because then well have to kill them and that would make the multiple protag idea seem like a waste. I've seen so many threads where people over analyze vague screenshots and come up with some off the wall scenario where they stab each other in the back. It's getting ridiculous. Yep, it's getting overbearing. Such script and plot twists are cheap, easy, reliable ways to generate new drama, conflict and tension in a story. I hope that Rockstar will rise above that, but unfortunately, I don't have confidence that they will. OT: While Heat is one of my favorite movies, I am hoping that GTAV actually has some story lines -in addition to- Heat; otherwise it is starting to look like a video game remake of the movie. Actually, the real lesson learned in Heat was, "it's hard to find good help these days." De Niro's crew had their act totally together, but hiring that Waingro f*ck destroyed everything. That was the cheap plot device in Heat that was used to drive the story. Well, Vice City was basically "Scarface - The game" and no one complained. Yea its starting to get annoying how people think that one of the three will be a antagonist, but that means after we kill them there will be a empty slot where they originally was during the game since we cant play as them anymore. Dick Justice Posted June 1, 2013 Share Posted June 1, 2013 On topic of protagonist death, I think the fact that there are multiple protagonists actually makes it more possible, opposed to less possible. It would make sense too, especially if a certain character would die depending on choices we make. After the game is done, we miss that character and reel from their death, but free-roam is still maintained through the two surviving members. I'm not saying it will happen, I'm just not stupid enough to flat-out deny then possibility. On topic of Franklin, he's the most ambitious of the group, so when people call him loyal, I really don't understand. He's shown no signs of loyalty in the trailers so far. Then they may have to put aside their differences because they have a much greater enemy, like corrupt IAA/FIB officials. Imagine Michael betraying Franklin and Trevor by giving them up to the FBI, and Franklin has to chase down Michael and the two have a final standoff on the air field.
