dee8ball Posted June 1, 2013 Share Posted June 1, 2013 Considering a lot of people were making up "undead nightmare" style DLC i thought i would make up my own "original" joke dlc idea thingamajig. Okay so basically the idea is this: On a dark starry night Trevor is sitting on a lawn chair by his trailer in the middle of nowhere (blaine county). He looks up at the night sky and unexpectedly sees some strange flashy lights flying through the sky at ridiculously fast speeds. Then he notices one of the strange lights crashing near his location. trevor then proceeds to drive his trailer to the location of the crash site. but once he gets there he sees that within the crash site is actually a large metallic saucer of some sort. however after discovering saucer he hears military sirens and drives away. My idea for this dlc is that it is based off of '50s B-movies and other "alien invader" type movies. It could have UFOs, Ray guns, Grey aliens, Government conspiracies and probably some funny Nervous Ron moments. But like undead nightmare it would be a non canon/dream dlc. So what do you think? I'd actually like to see more developers do things along these lines (not zombies) and make them turn out good (like what Ubisoft Montreal did). In the middle of the story, they discover the Aliens' real secret and the Three Idiots made an alliance with the Aliens whilst Ron betrays them by selling them out to the Government, Lamar joins the "President of the USA"'s gang to fight off the Aliens, and Jimmy fulfills his "gamer dreams" and joins the military to fight the Aliens. ^That's a SR4 hint. Of course we know nothing about him but in his artwork you can see him with a radio of some sort so I guess he's into this whole conspiracy business. I would definitely buy this. RoadRunner71 Posted June 3, 2013 Share Posted June 3, 2013 Finally some innovative idea for a DLC I'm not really sure how this would fit with the GTA freeroam (linear storyline or random encounters), but I'd definitely buy it. The map would be great, with desert areas and (let's hope...) small towns, where could be mysterious military operations covering strange sh*t from the outer space, and with that Cold War ambientation... just awesome Edit: it could have like LA Noire the choice to put the screen in black and white, like an old movie Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
