I finally found a cool video to make you people understand how should cars be.

I KNOW PRETTY WELL , that cars are supposed to be from "3rd world" ( such as africa ) and bad made to cause such crashes.

But this will happen in poor districts.

In rich districts of gta v , maybe cars are ARMORED or their armor improved anyway.

Also this could be a option for player as well so u won't crash that bad.

What do you think?

I cucked Alex Jones

Last time I checked, Africa doesn't have a booming motor industry.

Ofc not....Just because my english is for the lulz , i meant , that cars that is made for SUCH COUNTRIES ( such as africa as example ) and is MADE FROM CHINA ( as example ) their quality is NOT that good and crashes mostly end up like the video you see.

I want something like that for gta v ( in poor cars that don't cost much money ) so people might have bigger fun on crashing.

I will for sure.

EDIT: Last time i post without quote.

Dis post is meant to answer to Nipperkins

I believe... I believe I am starting to understand what he means. Poor district's cars are supposed to be less resistant than richer ones. Is that it?

Meh, I don't think this is really a regional thing. Very few countries are responsible for most automobile manufacturing.

If anything, time (year) of production would be more related to a car's "durability" than where it was made. Back in the day (pre-1980's) everything was still relatively heavy steel (I think?). Now it's all aluminum and fiberglass, which is why cars today explode when they hit something.

I wish all crashes were that realistic in gta, but if you search for the original video of that the producer from those clips speaks about how gta on consoles can't handle that depth of detail

No it would be more annoying than Mafia 2's losing health when crashing feature

It's like you gotta start driving like a normal human being if it was in any GTA game or you'd be screwed on the first crash.

The main problem with this is that GTA V isn't set in a third-world country, it's set in the US, which has some of the world's toughest safety standards for automobiles. Even the cheapest cars have to hold together in a crash better than the cars in that video. Those infamous Chinese cars are all effectively banned from sale in the US because of safety laws.

And to respond to Patriot_Action's comment about modern cars being flimsier: that's actually because of a safety feature called "crumple zones". The solid construction on older cars may preserve the vehicles themselves in an accident, but the G-force of the car coming to a sudden stop could seriously injure or even kill the passengers. Crumple zones are there so that, when the car crashes, the passenger compartment comes to a halt more slowly, producing less whiplash and reducing the severity of injuries. (Actually, that could be a feature with certain cars: modern cars get more badly deformed in accidents but protect their occupants better, while older cars can take more damage, but their occupants will lose more health in a bad crash.)

idk it seems like once u crash going fast, your car is done. That would piss me off and make the game unenjoyable. Sure the physics are neat and realistic, but come on, its too realistic. GTA 4 car damage was perfect for me.
