MMG
Over the decade hip hop genre has spawned some weird motherf*ckers in our radars such as flava flav, riff raff, 2 chainz, etc They make incredible club music no doubt But I swear half these rappers are retarded and ratchet as f*ck ATL rapper Waka Flocka raps about a "rooster in my rari" That's slang for "There's a throbbing dick in my butt" No homo ____________ Basically some of these rappers are unintentionally trolling which is funny as f*ck imo GTA SA did a great job in capturing this humor with the OG Loc storyline He was retarded as hell but funny at the same time One of my favorite characters in SA ____________ Do you think it would be a good addition to the game to add rapper humor to GTA V? Snoop Dogg recently changing his name to snoop lion, They could make a rapper named "Hush Puppy" change his name to "Shut Up Cougar" or something Drizzy Drake could be Sissy Dyke _____________ Anyone else rooting for the return of R* humor in hip hop? Leezy810
Flavor Flav has been around far longer than the last ten years. Public Enemy was one of the most critically acclaimed hip hip groups of the 80s. Flav is just stuck in the 80s lol.
MMG
I can see them adding a Rick Ross type a character with a deep ass voice and an addiction to hustling and fried chicken Or maybe they save that for vice city II
woggleman
I know about the different universes but it would be funny if Madd Dogg had a reality show where he was married to a surgically enhanced and overly made up white woman. It would sort of be a parody of Ice and Coco.

Even then, they don't say much I'm interested in. They're weird as f*ck, but I like how they spit, especially Earl. Maybe when they get older they'll actually say something I care about. I agree with you about Kendrick. I actually buy his sh*t, so I would definitely pick him if I had to choose. And I think Odd Future was mentioned because of the humor aspect. rsgtafan
Man. I just hate where rap has gone in the US. It's complete bullsh*t. Everyone is just after the money and fame. It's about hustling the music. It sounds more pop to me. But hip hop is not dead, It's just underground. It's because of the suburban and rich american teen's that want to watch 16 and pregnant and all the other useless crap on mtv, the kind of people that want something and if they do, they want it now. It's f*cking disgusting how media has made america nowadays. I used to want to live in the USA but nowadays I hate that place. Of course everyone is not the same but the majority is. There is my preach of today.

I'm not trying to hate, but I guarantee in 5 years, you might see where I'm coming from. When I was 19 I would've been all in with Odd Future. I still recognize talent, but if they're not saying what I wanna hear, it's harder to listen to on a regular. I love them when I'm blazed though, especially their videos. I mainly listen to Kendrick , J Cole, and Lupe right now. It's probably because they're my age, but I'll check out anybody. I was mainly listening to Rockafella(before they split up) when I was 19. It's f*cking disgusting how media has made america nowadays. I used to want to live in the USA but nowadays I hate that place. Of course everyone is not the same but the majority is. There is my preach of today. Lmao oh gawd this belongs in the jihad to the infidels thread. It's true rappers are after the money and fame but once you get out of the slums you can't be rapping about clapping ninas and sparking choppas all the time. Hip hop has always been about bragging. If you had 20 bugattis and phantoms in your garage, f*ck yeah you'd be using that line to pick up females If you get head from a different girl every day, f*ck yeah you'd go tell your friends. However, hip hop isn't the same thing as "gangster rap" That's why 90s rap and millenial hip hop is so different. Hip hop is music that defines the artists environment. That's why Tupac was a revolutionary hip hop artist. Sure he bragged about the money and fame, but he didn't leave his roots behind. He went to Hollywood parties but still broke bread in Crenshaw. If you're from the slums and you made a $100 million rapping, would you buy a house in the ghetto or move to a mansion in Miami? If I was from the ghetto, f*ck compton, im living classy in miami It's only human nature bruv Rappers leave their hood and rap about money and bitches. Thats still hip hop, cuz they're rapping about their true surroundings Today's rap sounds like pop, but that's just a evolution of hip hop. Tldr hope that made sense friend Don't hold your breath waiting for the next tupac or nas, its hard to go against human nature Edited June 1, 2013 by MMG
Game2048
One of the funnies things about rap, hip-hop - it's like rappers are saying "look at them, they made millions, how they are successful and how their listeners are not so successful, because they did not earn as much as they have earned". This is so f*cking dumb :-))) They talk all this sh*t to people, who, in fact, made them millionaires. Or rapers with all those chains and jewelery. They look like f*cking stupid monkeys who absolutely have no taste and put on themselves everything that shines Edited June 1, 2013 by Game2048

They look like f*cking stupid monkeys who absolutely have no taste and putting on themselves everything that shines That's the hip hop culture. Imagine making it in the industry as a rapper. Your source of income is music, and statistics show that average musicians make very little money. Then there's the people around you disrespecting cuz you're broke. Females blowing you off cuz people with legit jobs have a more secure future than you. People saying you will never make it, and you will always be in the ghetto. Then you go platinum and make millions. The jewelry and cars is a statement of "TALK sh*t ABOUT ME NOW" You said I'll starve and die in the hood. You're making 50k a year as a corporate employee? I just bought my supermodel girlfriend a 50k handbag bitch! My shirt cost more than what you make in a year! Rappers aren't dissing the listeners. They are telling a story and talking sh*t to all the "haters" that doubted That's just the culture

Weak minded Yeah, I know that you're completely inadequate in your America with all this tolerance bullsh*t. And often it goes to complete idiocy The difference is that my country never made slaves from black people. And I strongly dislike racism, I think that it's very primitive and dumb thing. But I can call black man a ni**er - not because I'm racist. But because in my country this word doesn't contains racist meaning as it contains in your country. In my country, and in most of all other countries, ni**er means a black man. Nothing more, nothing less. As for my statement - I didn't say that all Black people look like monkeys. I said that many rappers look like monkeys Edited June 1, 2013 by Game2048
