Audiophile
Just picked this game up on Steam and I am enjoying it. It's basically a city-builder/RPG game. It's only alpha right now but the devs are going to update it as progress is made, obviously. Has some good humour in it. First cutscene parodied Assassin's Creed by having a villager take a "leap of faith" from a ledge into a wheelbarrow full of wheat...but he missed it and fell to his death. http://www.gamesfoundry.com/ http://store.steampowered.com/app/224440/ Edited June 1, 2013 by Audiophile Intel i5-4590 3.3GHz | EVGA GTX 1080 SC 8GB | 16GB Corsair Vengeance RAM | MSI Z97 G-45Samsung 850 EVO 250GB SSD and Samsung 850 EVO 500GB SSD | Audioengine A2 Speakers Corsair K70 RGB Rapidfire | Corsair M65 Mouse | Fractal Design R5 Case | EVGA G2 850WAudio-Technica M50x Headphones and Sennheiser HD 558 | LG 34UC88 1440p Ultrawide Curved Monitor
Johan
Looks like a pretty great game to me, but the price looks kinda steep.. do you think it's worth the 20$ with the features included? Might give this a try in a few weeks when I get money.

All you get right now is the tutorial, which I am on right now and to be fair it is lengthily and shows off the various features of the game like combat rather than just the city-management. But for the $20 you get basically all the future updates to the game as it's in alpha then beta and then finally release. Like most other greenlight games on Steam. There's going to be sandbox mode in a future update. nightwalker83
So we actually get to build houses, etc or is it a Sim City type thing?
Audiophile
You don't literally build the houses. It's kind of like SimCity in the sense that you select what to build and then villagers build it from the ground up. Do you remember the old WoW games? It's basically like that and Age of Empires when it comes to city-building. You click on a plot of land and select what to build there. Once your villagers build that you can then train free villagers to work there. For example if you build a mill then you can train some villagers to be farmers. You then build some wheat fields and the farmers will work there. You can select these villagers and have them walk around/attack enemies on the map. Futhermore you can build a barracks and train villagers to become soldiers. Use those soldiers to defend your town and attack enemy outposts etc. The part of the tutorial I am on right now has objectives to capture something in order to get into an enemy outpost and get your captured villagers back after an attack on your town. Hope that helped. nightwalker83
Is it possible to demolish building? I need to build a chicken coup but can't find anymore locations to build at. Edit: Just killed the boss but for some strange reason it is still asking me to free the prisoners. Edited June 1, 2013 by nightwalker83
