HOW'S ANNIE? Posted May 31, 2013 Share Posted May 31, 2013 Remeber back to the first round of previews when they were discussing the mission that invloved breaking the guy out of the IAA building? Well a lot of places picked up on Trevor and Michael breifly discussing a character named Brad, who Trevor wants broken out of prison but Michael seems a bit weiry about. I mean there hasn't been a lot of emphasis on this, but why point it out and make it clear in the previews if the plot isn't going to go anywhere? I can actually see Brad being the main antagonist. Since Michael seems to not want him on the outside it seems as if he could be a flight risk to him, se he's going to try and stop him getting out as much as possible. I could see Trevor going behind Michael's back and getting Franklin in on a plan to bust him out using their heist skills. If this happens I could see the crew working with Brad for their final heist and everything going to sh*t because Brad rats on the crew, leading to a massive shootout at a police safehouse to kill him during the final mission. What I mean is people are thinking they know the map, story and everything about the game based on information we know when if the truth be told we know so little. Alec Skorpio Posted May 31, 2013 Share Posted May 31, 2013 I seem to recall a few places mentioning that Trevor wanted Mike to call his FIB contacts to get someone out of prison, but I don't remember it being so much that Michael didn't want it but more like Michael didn't actually have any pull with the FIB. Maybe he was a close friend of Trevor who wound in jail while Michael rested with his "sweet-heart" deal from the FIB and Trevor escaped to Blaine County. Someone like Brad could seriously mess up Michael's whole "Heist" scheme and put his family and himself in serious danger. Thoughts? Trevor seems quite loyal towards Michael, but honestly I haven't seen enough of the characters to make assumptions about them. Also, I thought the heist skills came from Michael, he seems to be the brains behind it all, but as I said I don't really want to make assumptions as we will probably have a totally different perspective on them all once we have seen more of them . Quote from the first GameInformer preview: "[Trevor] agreed to do this mission on the premise that it will spring his friend Brad when he reiterates this, michael replies 'We'll talk about Brad later. cp1dell Posted June 1, 2013 Share Posted June 1, 2013 I like the idea and think it's very possible that Brad worked with Micheal and Trevor back before Micheal sold him out. I wouldn't be surprised if Micheal doesn't hold his end up of the deal and doesn't break Brad out of prison, causing Trevor to attempt it himself, getting Brad out, and from that point on Brad is the antagonist. This could also mean when Rockstar said "You get to play as the antagonist" they somewhat meant Trevor, in terms that he's the one that sparks the main conflict (getting Brad out).
