But i'm sure that was just an old build being shown. When the game finally goes gold, nothing bad can happen anymore, but i have a good feeling about this that it will make it on time. I can guarantee you they will be using every second until then continuing to: -Add/Remove objects -Polish Trevor's bald spots -Mission playthrough's -Compressing audio and texture files -Drink Whiskey -Having people play the %$# out of the game looking for anything game breaking (Bug/Glitch Finding) Ex: Trevor mounting and riding bears On second thought I hope that's ingame Last week of August, 1st week of September it's GOLD time. Fisha695 Posted June 1, 2013 Share Posted June 1, 2013 Judging from what I know of the industry; 3 months out from release the game will be in "Final Q&A" with both 3rd & 1st party (Take-Two/Rockstars' publishing arm & Sony/Microsoft in this case), roughly 6 weeks from launch the game will "go Gold" and start to be printed, packaged & ready to be shipped, any more fixes after that point become a day 1 patch. About 2 weeks out the games are sent from the printers warehouse to the various distribution warehouses, roughly 1 week from the street date the games are delivered to the stores. The main part of the game is complete, they're maybe sorting out spawn points for multi-player or fine tuning the game engine etc etc. My money is on multi-player bits and bobs. OT: With a game as ambitious as V, they are definitely not finished. especially in glitches and bugs. It's expected to go gold (and R* term of 'gold' unlike "some" devs if you know what i mean) around august-september, in which they will send copies to retailers and such. If they can't manage the deadline (which is unlikely), unlike most devs they (R*) will not release an unfinished game whatsoever in any circumstances and will resort to delays, and thats ain't due for change.... anytime soon atleast.
