Bobbin100
Secondly, PS3 controller sucks. That should be reason enough as it is. That's your opinion. Not fact. I didn't claim it to be a fact. All I'm saying is that it sucks having to spend another ~50bucks on an aftermarket controller after first buying the console But so as not to make all PS fanboys butthurt, I'll just say for the record that I don't much care for the xbox either. PC guy... Used Xboxes are damn cheap I see. Looked around at a finnish online second-hand auction website and the boxes start at 20eur for red ringed one (fix yourself, easy-ish usually I hear) and 50eur for basic working one which would suffice for gta. Might find even cheaper on ebay I know. When you say 'that should be reason enough as it is,' you're telling the OP as if it was a fact. Of course, people are comfortable with different controllers. s1xty7
Even with the overwhelming support for a used PS3, and the fact that I love my PS3, I'd go with a used 360 because you have games already OR a slim PS3 (not the super slim) and sell/trade in your 360 games to help offset the cost of the console and game. I don't think you can go wrong either way but I feel the PS3 has more to offer than the 360 if just comparing console to console.
Aly Zaroon
For my money PS3 reasons are below take what suits you Reasons -online subscription - multiple discs +best online servers -RROD if you'll buy old version +little bit brighter then ps3 version Ps3 If you are looking for story+ online multiplayer you should buy second hand ps3 and buy just a copy of GTA V Reasons +Free online - YLOD old version -Graphics will be the same difference between xbox and ps3 graphic is brightness ps3 is kinda dull not much just 5% or something and xbox is brighter then ps3 you probably know that since you already had both consoles + one single disc + online helping partner or booster like in gta iv me halfbloodking93 Edited May 31, 2013 by Aiden Pierce

That's just my humor, I feast on butthurt tears Believe it or not, I still consider SNES controller to be better than the current ones. The current ones are designed to fit in your palm, but as a side effect they cause sweating which I find uncomfortable while playing, makes the controller first slippery and then sticky
urbanfire
Cheapest and most practical option: a used Ps3. Online is free (so you wont have to pay an extra $60 fee per year) and on 1 disc. Plus all the demos so far were running on Ps3, so perhaps R* decided to make Ps3 the home console this time and xbox the port (like LA Noire, which looked pretty good on both consoles). As for controller, I prefer the 360s controller, so I use this 360-like controller for my PS3: http://images.esellerpro.com/2485/I/203/0/SL-4446-BK.jpg Edited June 1, 2013 by urbanfire

d3ex2
FS why are people so incapable of deciding things for themselves? you have the power of the internet at your hands. research it and decide for yourself. This just creates a console war. but to give you an answer: PS3 That's where it's at. Why? • trailers/screenshots are captured from PS3. • previews were shown on a PS3. • SONY seem to be teamed up with Rockstar. PS3 has an exclusive GTA V bundle. • will only need 1 disc where as 360 will need at least 2. • do you want to pay to play it online? No? Get a ps3. Nemesis2252
im an xbox player but heres the biggest factor to keep in mind: xbox is roughly $5-6 per month to play online playstation is free. for a one-time go with just a couple games, i think playstation is the much better way to go
YusufAmirFan
Well it looks like the headset isn't even included in the bundle.... lame. I'm not going to be paying $300+ to play this game. Used PS3 it is.
KrushLTx10
They have a PS3 GTA V bundle so you could get that. There really isn't a difference unless you may have a couple friends on 360 and you don't wanna have to pay for online. It's purely up to you but I suggest that bundle.
