What options for healing - besides regeneration - do you think will be in V?

    • Same as IV- Occasional health packs, food vendors.

    • None, HP will only be refilled at saves, or after missions.

How do you think healing will be implemented in GTA V? Something similar if not identical to IVs system would work fine, in my opinion. Another way would be completing stunt jumps, finishing missions, and saving. This one would be difficult, and i doubt many people would want it. A final option would be similar to L4D: Carryable healthpacks, that you can use to heal yourself or allies. This would fit well with the inventory system, and it would be useful in missions. Players would also have to use planning with them, as they could be expensive. They could buy some before a heist and think 'This could make it easier, but i might not be able to buy both it and this other thing'. This idea is also my favorite. What do you guys think? i think its been confirmed that you will slowly heal until your healths half way to full. and then the rest will be through food from restaurants, vendors, etc. and health packs id keep it that way except not have random health packs everywhere. put them in places that make sense. like hospitals and such

i think its been confirmed that you will slowly heal until your healths half way to full. and then the rest will be through food from restaurants, vendors, etc. and health packs id keep it that way except not have random health packs everywhere. put them in places that make sense. like hospitals and such

I said besides regeneration. Anyways, just some food vendors too are fine, like i said. I'd really hate for something like carry able healthpacks to not be in the game, especially with something like the new inventory system.

Im pretty sure the previews said anything below 50% will be autohealed, the other half you need healing items.

 

OT: We only need food(heals 25%) and healthpacks(heals 75%) to heal otherwise the game would become way too easy.

Considering we now have shopkeepers im guessing you will be able to buy health packs.

Way too easy?

 

Don't buy healing items then, simple. Anything can heal you to 100 normally just like anything can take away your health.

 

I think it'll be like Gta IV, but it would be interesting being able to carry syringes that you can se to restore your health.

I think you should have to buy health kits from gas stations and such. They should have a set number you can hold at once. You should be able to use them like Max Payne in MP3. They could have asprin instead of pain killers, or bottles of Sprunk Cola...
