Hippies are awesome, they love eachother, and have some of the best music. Hopefully, there is an old 60s station in V. Also, it would be cool if there was a Woodstock parody, or some other generic hippie-fest where people swayed to the music and smoked their brains out. But in all honesty it hasn't grown in the last 5 I swear my hair stays to about the hip area. Everyone has stereotyped me as a hippy or a biker. I've always got a joint on me. I grow s'rooms. I love nature and animals. But I hate the majority of people. It's just one of those labels I guess. Anyways yeah seeing hippies in the game like that guy from San Andreas would be pretty cool. One of my favoirte cutscenes ever was when Tenpenny was doing a bong. Then that mission where you had to burn all the weed... was such a damn shame. lol But to see a group of hippies occassionally having conversations I'd get a kick out of it man. archiebunker Posted May 31, 2013 Share Posted May 31, 2013 I'm hoping there's a 60s counter-culture radio station as I'm a big fan of the music, however I'm sort of on the modern day hippie-hate bandwagon. Though I admire the Vietnam-era peace movement, I can't stand Deadhead and Phish-type hippies and, honestly, the hippie "subculture" is long, long passed being relevant. It only really lasted a couple years and it was full of fad-following, trust fund-inheritance moochers who went on to join the mainstream status quo which then proceeded to f*ck the world up financially and environmentally for subsequent generations. Hippies were a specific thing at a specific time (like Punk) involving the Baby Boomers and anyone who is a pacifist, stoner or is anti-war today isn't a hippie. It's just one of those things that generally get associated with that certain city rather than the entire territory. I think I'd rather they keep hippies it to the SF area, then it'd be one more thing that would make San Fierro unique when they choose to revisit it.
